I can't see Frist having enough momentum to hold a campaign, and I would definately take Rice, RINO attributes and all, over the original, authentic, one-of-a-kind, ultra-RINO known as John McCain.

Oh, C'mon WPtG: you know you spelled out gloom and doom for Cynthia McKinney the year she was defeated! ;oP

re: the thread's topic... didn't you say before that "we don't know him yet" about who the possible 08 candidate is for the RNC?
If we do know him - he better get exciting soon. None of the names listed are stuning my beeber.

[sarcasm]If they pass the law allowing foreign-born people to run for POTUS, it's most definately going to be Osama/Obama '08. The marketing factor and ease of printing up lawn signs alone will ensure that![/sarcasm]

...2008 Republican primary included ...Rudy Giuliani, Condi Rice, Tom DeLay, Zell Miller, and Arlene Spector; who would you choose and why?

Rudy/Condi Because that is the strongest ticket to defeat Hillary/McCain PLUS the third party challenger.

Note: the Clintonoids won twice by using the third party trick. They will absolutely do it again. Absolutely. (Of course, their fingerprints will be nowhere near the candidate.)

I wasn't WPtG during McKinney's "black Tuesday", so it doesn't count. And besides, that was only a temporary victory... she's back representing CAIR in the House, so there's no cause to gloat over that one.

As for the '08 candidate, I've said that but not on this thread... all I said here was that any one of the nominees suggested in the vanity would get clobbered by Hillary, which is why none of them will be the nominee. Rudy and Condi are pro-choice. McCain and Zell Miller are too old. And Lott's a lightning rod who could never win a national election.

That's not a doom and gloom prediction. It's just common sense. Our next nominee isn't going to come out of that field.

Whoever is pro-life, pro-2nd amendment and is decent.

That pretty much knocks out everyone on the list but Tom DeLay and Zell Miller.

Juliana G. has a sweet smile and twinkling eyes, but she's not pro-life.

Arlene might be fun to look at if she wears her wig, but she's a total fake.

Condi's fine, but again....not pro-life.

Who came up with this crazy list anyway?? I hope we have better choices than this in 2008....but then, depending on what happens regarding judicial appointments I may not be choosing from amongst Republicans anyway.
