Why go all out to alienate Sen. Frist, who is trying his best to help us?
We are alienating Sen.Frist? I just read an article that Frist will not grant a hearing to the leader of the Christian Coalition. Who is alienating who?
My guess is that he's had an earful, so why does he need to meet with a group or some group's leader? He's got lots of work to do to undo the mess created by that obstructionist, Tom Daschle, and we don't need to belabor the point. We want true allies in the Senate, not just reluctant ones. Let's let him get on with his work, thank him for the part he's played so far, but remind him that we'll be watching to make sure that Sen. Specter abides by the agreements he obviously made to get his Chairmanship of the Judiciary committee.
