WashingtonPost.com is no longer running the cartoons of hard-hitting liberal Ted Rall.
Rall said he thinks the site dropped his work because of a Nov. 4 cartoon he did showing a drooling, mentally handicapped student taking over a classroom. "The idea was to draw an analogy to the electorate -- in essence, the idiots are now running the country," he told E&P.
"That cartoon certainly drew a significant amount of negative comment from our users," said WashingtonPost.com Executive Editor Doug Feaver when contacted by E&P. But he added that the decision to drop Rall was a "cumulative" one that had been building for a while

But Rall's work is another matter .. he IS most definitely 'over the line' and very racist. THAT would get unbelievable response from the Dem's if he was pointed at them, in that I agree.
As much as we would all truly love to see that, the Rangers are too fine a bunch of people to even be in the same room with Ted Rall.

I'm tired of these mindless liberals acting like they're God's gift to the world.Ted Rall draws cartoon characters and thinks that it somehow makes him a genius.I guess the majority of people have enough intelligence to figure out that Rall is a jerk off with no talent.
IMO, rall is a cartoonist of hate. Maybe he did not start out that way, maybe he was only a silly little liberal at first... But, he should face hate crime charges for his work in recent years, and so should all the publishers and editors who printed rall's works of insult.
IIRC, rall also did a rude and crude cartoon ridiculing the 911 family members soon after 911.
The Tillman cartoon -- after the soldier's honorable and brave death -- was absolutely the most despicable crap I had ever seen published in a DC newspaper.
I am glad to know that harder times have fallen upon rall; good riddance to him. I hope other newspapers follow suit...
I have to disagree about the artist part. He draws GWB with a huge nose, and Condi Rice with huge protruding lips.

I don't want to be a Matchmaker, but I believe that we have a legitimate marriage match here: Ted Rall and Maureen Dowd. I know that Maureen's ovaries are sending her a message so this is good time for her to get it on with a like minded kindred spirit.

He throws factually inaccurate, slanderous drawings out at conservatives and hides behind the First Amendment and thinks he's just smart as hell. No facts, just rhetoric. What a pu**y. Good riddance.

I don't think it was intended to be funny except to people like Ted Rall who think Bush voters are mentally challenged and drooling. We'll have to put up with this crap for the next 4 years.

I honestly don't think they're that bright. They are dropping him because they know few people read it, and they won't lose circulation or ad revenue by dropping him, but they might if they keep him.
It's still a good thing.....
