"Ferry stopped by bomb scare
'Suspicious' package turns out to be student's backpack"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Troopers received a report of a "suspicious" package dumped by a young man who then "fled from the boat," Trooper Scott Harter said. A bomb unit eventually determined that the backpack contained a thermos, a calculator and papers. It also contained information that led troopers to its owner.


Located at his home, the unidentified young man told them it was his last day of classes at a Seattle school and he was just throwing his backpack away, Harter said."
