This guy is just selling a book. We need to clean out the CIA and other government agencies of those left over when Bush came to office. They are doing us a disservice.
He's not an agent he is an analyst (in any case, there are no Agents in the CIA). Furthermore, his work assessing Bin Laden does not give him any bit of expertise on how to fight the war on terror, or on the situation in the Middle East. He is totally unqualified to address either of those issues but the media treats him as if he is some kind of expert.
This guy was not the Bin Laden guy.
let's see. the article says the last time they could have gotten bin laden (out of at least 10 attempts) was during the clinton administration. cbs continues to blame bush for clinton's ineptness.
Its pretty obvious that the CIA is shot through with incompetants who feed at the government trough and then undermine those they are responsible to.
That Valeria Plume "kerfuffle" is another good example. A Bill Clinton group that just made one mistake - they didn't get John F-ing Kerry elected with their leaks and now they will pay the price.
One of the basic tenets of this guy and those on the left is that fighting a war will inflame the enemy and attract more adherents to his cause...Is there anything in history that leads credence to this idea? The Japanese seemed to have an almost religious belief in their Emporor...ie: the Kamakazi ....yet that "faith" died when enough of them died.
