I know. I've lurked there in the last couple of days and it's a hoot! They eat their own over there! They're furious with Kerry for conceding while people were still voting...They claim there were some who were voting at 3 a.m. on the 3rd! So if that kind of effort was made then how is it disenfranchisement? I ask bewilderingly...(is that a word?)

Actually, that claim is true. There were only two voting machines at Kenyon College for over 1600 students. The line was ten hours long and the last vote was cast between 3 and 4 am. The campus is still abuzz about it (I was there last Saturday).

Actually, its' "disfranchisement". Florence King did a great article back in 2000 that opened with a paragraph or two regarding this. Of course, if it's wrong to use the "en" prefix in this instance, what about "disembowel"?
