Amsterdam, Netherlands, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Slain right wing politician Pim Fortuyn has been voted the greatest Dutchman of all time by television viewers in the Netherlands.
Fortuyn, leader of the right-wing List party, was killed in 2002 by an ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST five days before the Dutch general elections. Running on an anti-immigration ticket, the party was poised to win enough parliamentary seats to become a significant political force in the country.

Cruyff is great because he invented the concept of 'total football' which revolutionized the sport.
Also he won plenty of European champions cup trophies, both as player and manager, and furthermore the man has introduced many new phrases and words that are used up to today, in Holland as well as in Spain.
But you do have one point, he never won anything with the national team :-(
Yeah, thats what I mean:
We defeated him in 74 and the Argentinians in 78...

I'm gonna take a page out of the DNC election book and say:
