I understand Sanford is unmarried. I like his stances and I think he would make a wonderful President, but how will this weigh in with the whole "Family Values" crowd that got President Bush elected this time around?
I think Sanford is one of our best contenders out there...How does he stand with the population that elected him? Who would Sanford run with? I think a good solid candidate from the West or Midwest? Maybe Senator Thune or Ensign or Gordon Smith? Or if he manages to win...Governor Rossi?
Yes, you can count on my support for Gov. Sanford...
If true, that's his only negative, but his record is pro-family to a 'T.' A good running mate can solve that issue.
I'd pick either Tim Pawlenty or Rick Santorum as a running mate if it were up to me.
Sanford is married and has children.
jtminton and I are outsiders. We are not too busy to say no to business as usual. But Sanford would do OK with me as a running mate.
I volunteer to be his first lady!
But seriously, I'm waiting to see who surfaces as a viable candidate for pres in '08 and see what his/her stance is on certian issues like Stem cell research and abortion (he/she must be pro-life to get my vote)
But that's not to say that the above mentioned issue is the only issue I vote on.
But if Sanford's looking for a companion of the female persuasion, I'm single ans almost 48! :0)
Sanford is married (Jenny) and has 4 young boys, Marshall, Landon, Bolton, and Blake.
