Big plans ahead! Scarborough Country will be coming to a radio station in your hometown in the new year.
Westwood One will be launching a national radio show that will bring you the best of Joe every morning.
Now you can start your day with Joe on the radio and say goodnight to him by the glow of his MSNBC show.
All Joe... All the time.
You know, America really is starting to look more and more like Scarborough Country every day!
They also report:
Joe remains laid up on his back from an old injury sustained in a Turkish prison in the early 1970s (dont ask) but will continue doing his show whenever health permits.
Doctors expect a full recovery by the end of the year.

Westwood One serves over 7,700 radio stations and is operated by Infinity Broadcasting Corp. They provide over 150 news, sports, music, talk, entertainment programs, features, live events and 24/7 formats through their subsidiaries.
Found this posted on the NEW version of Joe's official website. It is undergoing a redesign, the temp pages are now online...
Eventually it will be at RegularJoe.com, currently it is .org
The temp pages are up at joescarborough.com. It looks very cool!
The page the excerpt is from is a new feature called "The Buzz," which discusses some latest show happenings, and updates on what Joe's up to.
(Disclaimer: The UNOFFICIAL fansite I run came online Sept. 23, any similarities to the new design are just coincidence. The script font I use is a free one called DearJoe (weird, huh) from 1001fonts.com, theirs is a new original font based on his signature.)

Tonite on Scarborough Country: MSM Media Bias - Is the New York Times biased in their coverage of U.S. foreign policy? Author Howard Friel says "yes" and claims he has the evidence to prove it. He makes his case in "Scarborough Country."
At end of last night's show, he invited emails about media bias we see, in the big media, or even in our hometown - to joe@msnbc.com
FReepmail me if you want to be on or off this list! :-)
Scarborough Country is already on the radio. XM Radio that is. I love my xm radio, I listen to my favorite FOXNEWS and MSNBC shows while I'm driving to and from work.
Joe has done a good job subbing for Bob Grant on WOR in New York. I just wonder if he'll find an outlet in NY.
XM Satellite Radio? Wish I had the $$ to upgrade my car to that, I have an aging car. Not even a CD player, lol
.....Just don't phone him in the middle of the day, he'll probably be sleeping. :-)
Ever since the 2000 election mess, I have been a great fan of his.
If MSNBC got rid of Rick Kaplan and dumped Chris Matthews, putting Joe Scarborough in the Matthews spot, they'd start to move up on Fox News. It is now clearly apparant the Chris Matthews is a traitor/treason guy. He loves the Iraqi insurgents!!! I am certain that a review of his viewer numbers commencing after the election will his show his program in the toilet. GE & MSNBC wake to the reality of the world. Dump Chris Matthews!!! General Electric, you should be ashamed.
Joe Scarborough isn't conservative enough for me, but I like him better than O'Reilly. Maybe FOX can dump O'Reilly for Scarborough.
I think that is an excellent idea...
His is the only show I watch on MSNBC.
Agreed. I think he is to much of a pansy on MSNBC. Hope on the radio he is a little more tough.
Don't count on him being any tougher on the radio, but I guess we can give him a chance.
Thank you. I hope he doesn't become addicted to pain meds, like another person we so admire. This is where integrative medicine is a good thing, and I hope he's trying various approaches to his problem.
Yes, what is it about getting a TV show that makes these people weak in the knees? Maybe it is the liberal culture they are exposed to daily. Or maybe they were never really conservatives to begin with.
I do know he's very pro-life, pro-family, against wasteful bureaucracy and spending, pro-defense, pro-gun.
In a recent lecture, he was asked by an audience member, "Are you a moderate conservative - where do you fit in?" He said:
"Fiscally, I'm very conservative, no doubt about that, more of a libertarian... When it comes to defense, I'm a hawk's hawk...I don't think we should run around the globe trying to be the 911 rescue of the world, but at the same time when America's national interest and safety is at risk, as I believe it is in Iraq, as I believe it is in the Middle East - I support those wars. I understand why people wouldn't believe that, but I support them. Her other question: "Will you ever run for office again?" He said:On the environment, my conservative friends called me "Squish," because I was moderate to liberal on the environment, and I think a lot of that has to do with geography...For people that live close to water, I've found, are more moderate to progressive on the environment.[snip]
So I don't know what you would call me, I had a lot of people come up to me very confused while I was in Congress saying come up to me and ask 'What do you call yourself?", and I don't know exactly what specifically it is, again you have to break it up...fiscally conservative, fairly conservative militarily, environment moderate.
Not Congress again, but I may run for something down the road.
It's not transcribed exactly, it makes more sense in the context of the video.

And a hearty Scarborough bump!
I hope his radio show does well. Many people don't bother watching his show because they dislike MSNBC. He's the only show I'll watch on MSNBC unless I hear about some great fight and tune into a re-air. If more people watched his show and knew his format, (and attitude), I agree they'd love him over at Fox. But since it doesn't appear he's going anywhere (yet), the more exposure he can get, the better.
Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
