Please help me on this fundraiser

I have been accused of something that I didn't do And I am being sued for it! On December 2, 2000, I held a rally in New Haven in front of then Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman's house, doing what little I could to show support for the newly elected President Bush, and to show my frustration at the Democrats in their attempts to overturn the genuinely won election by George W. Bush. At the end of the rally, Former Ct State Senator Tom Scott was speaking on the back of my truck, when all of a sudden the lead Democrat supporter of the counter rally held at the same location, started to approach my truck, then turned and took 3 or 4 running steps and jumped on the bed of my truck in a manner that I thought he was going to attack someone on the truck: either me or Tom. I stepped to his side and held out my arm to stop him as he ran into my arm and immediately stopped his forward motion. I kept my hand held out in front of him to prevent him from going forward on the truck bed and get closer to Tom who was speaking at the time. After 3 seconds or so, the man who jumped on my truck immediately turned and jumped down off the truck into the arms of the Police who quickly escorted him away from my truck. The whole incident lasted no more than 5 seconds it seems. Tom and I decided to not press charges for assault or trespass on my truck, and let him go. 9 months later, the man filed suit against me for assault. I am not joking. 9 months later. He claims I grabbed his throat. Look at the picture. This picture was taken December 2, 2000. That is the man who claims I was grabbing his throat. My hand is on his chest, not his throat. My hand was NEVER on his throat, nor was it ever near his throat!

Why I made this website Because of the lawsuit, I am forced to endure thousands of dollars of debt that I cannot afford. I have been employed only in temporary positions since 2001 when telecom collapsed, and am deep in debt. This man is trying to use the legal system to get tens of thousands of dollars from me that does not belong to him, and he is doing it by claiming I assaulted him, which I did not do at all.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP?? I am forced to ask, but can you consider donating to help me pay my legal fees? Because of this false charge against me, I am now over $8000 in debt to my lawyer, and we cannot continue until I can pay my bill! Could you please send me $5 or $10 or $20 to help my legal fees? My heart goes out to you, and I understand somewhat of what you are going through.

We went through something very similar after, and I believe because of the 2000 election.

We also were sued and by our political enemies. They had the highest priced attorney in our area, who had been a close personal friend of the judge.(roomates in college)(both democrat players)The 14 year democrat state representive was an expert witness against us.

It is a very long, almost unbelievable unless you know us personally, and understand what really truly happened.

Anyway it cost us dearly not only the money to defend ourselves, but our good name was damaged too.

This democrat was thought of as impossible to beat, but the rest of the story is that I got a good candidate, and he, his wife, and I worked very hard with very little money, and WE WON!!!

Now people who were afraid to be seen with me are all of a sudden my best friend.

This request for help really needs to be in the side bar, at the top, so EVERYONE sees it. I only caught it by chance.

Race needs help, big time. It would be tragic to see him ruined financially because of some Jesse Jackson wanna-be.

I sent the url to Rush and hope he reads the email. Will send it to Michelle Malkin also. If a big enough name gets ahold of the story maybe the tables will turn on the one causing so much trouble for Race.

I met that thing once at a New Haven event where it showed-up just to get in front of channel 8's cameras. Had a lot of big black bucks standing all around it. Goon squad material; with real goons. I was introduced to it by a congregant from First Baptist.

It pumped my hand and grinned whitely and I asked it a question regarding something I'd heard on Tom's show on WELI (which gives you an idea how long ago this was). It started spluttering and flustering and all-of-a-sudden it got VERY 'dark' all around me.

I walked away, staying in plain sight of the cops and slipped away without anything 'shadowing' me. The congregant and I were never Christmas card swappers, so it was no big loss. :)

IMO: absolutely execrable - they don't come any lower.

Will you keep us posted? I am sure I can speak for most freepers, that we will continue to help you as long as needed. If everybody just didn't go out and rent that blockbuster video and send to you instead... the numbers would add up to alot.
