US MARINE EXECUTES SHOT MAN

A US marine has sparked world-wide revulsion after being seen shooting an injured and helpless Iraqi.

The sickening scene was broadcast by Channel 4 News after a fire-fight in the rebel stronghold of Fallujah.

The trigger-happy soldier had been asked to get nearer to the injured man.

But instead of trying to capture him, the marine is seen leaning over a wall and cold-bloodedly shooting him.

He then turns to his colleagues and says: "He's gone". Coalition chiefs were last night under pressure to investigate the incident

I believe there is or was earlier this afternoon the film on Drudge.

What I saw was a soldier finish off an "insurgent" who evidently was shot by the Military in the aftermath of a huge fire fight.

This is a War and our Troops have been blown up by enough of these scumbags who claim to be civilians just to regroup and kill our Troops first opportunity.

I can think of few things more demoralizing to our troops than to order them into a town full of snipers, and tell them they can only kill enemy snipers under certain conditions which will be determined later by the news media.

There is NO WAY to confirm any such "execution".

The Marine casually fires one quick shot, turns immediately, casually jumps down and clearly says "he's gone". This most likely implies that the terrorist was either hiding or had run away, the single shot was to test the situation. The Marine would not have turned so quick after one shot.

The marine who spoke said that the terrorist had taken shots at him and missed, and tried to throw a grenade at him. He said the plan was to lob a grenade into his bunker, then take him out. That's exactly what then occurred. The terrorist may have been dead already after the grenade. By the way, this was during a FIERCE firefight.

Command forces have said the object of the offensive is to kill all the terrorists, period.

No one knows whether the terrorist/insurgent was alive or dead. He's never pictured. Was firing at the marines from behind a stone wall.

The marine himself was all business, again during a fierce battle.

I saw the video also. I laughed because I thought good riddance to a terrorist that was holding our soldiers down in a firefight.

a terrorist hacking off a live civilians head with a butcher's knife should cause "world wide revulsion", but a soldier doing his job during a battle is WAR. We didn't go there to hand out daisies at the end of our gun barrels, we went to defeat an enemy and there is no soft way to accomplish that task.

The MSM can go to hell, furthermore I don't agree with the use of live embeds during war. My god, if they had live embeds during WWII we would of had an impossible situation back home, the daily gruesome details of War is not something that civilians should be viewing as if it's the daily news report. Civilians are not trained to deal with the realities of war.

as it is, we are losing marines because we aren't blowing up buildings - our men are entering them, and they are booby trapped.

This is horse crap. Many of you have probably already seen the video, and never realized you had witnessed this "execution." It never happened. Those who are convinced that these monsterous terrorists are actually the good guys will stop at nothing, certainly not the truth, to cast our troops in a bad light.

For one thing, the "victim" is never shown on camera, since he was behind a brick wall at the time. As far as I can tell, the "victim" was an enemy sniper who had been wounded and fell between a couple of buildings. The marine did exactly what he is supposed to do in a war; kill the enemy. There is NO way to tell if the enemy was unarmed or not. It's a reasonable, probably necessary, presumption that an enemy sniper who was just trying to kill you minutes before, was NOT unarmed.

That whole story is a slanderous, steaming pile of manure. ...as if anyone wondered.
