Holy Father,

We come before You with thanksgiving today, Father, for You have blessed us with countless gifts of love. May all praise and thanks be given to You, Father, and to the Son and to the Spirit, for You are the one eternal God who has made an everlasting covenant with Your children. Your Word tells us that though the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed, Your kindness shall not depart from us, neither shall the covenant of Your peace be removed. What blessings You heap upon our heads, Great God; for You and Your everlasting love, which You give us through Jesus Christ, are the greatest gift of all.

Thank You for America, Lord, and bless this land of ours. We are grateful for the freedoms we have and for the joy of being able to worship You as we please. Thank You for those who came before us, Lord, who gave up their homes and braved the seas to seek a land where they could truly bow down to You, the one true God. We remember them with thankfulness for their sacrifices, but also for their vision. We thank You for those who sought You as they designed and formed our government. We praise You for Your hand in this nation throughout the ages. O Lord, by Your infinite mercies, please continue to bless America, and let us never forget our true heritage.

We come with grateful hearts to seek Your blessings for the President You have chosen for us, Lord. How many times throughout the past years we have seen Your work in him and have known that Your hand was upon him. Thank You, Father, for equipping us with a man of God who is unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We know he is but a man; yet through Jesus Christ and the power of the Spirit, he is able to do all that You require of him. You are his God who teaches him what is best. You direct him in the way he should go. We praise You for the counsel You provide him, for You give him sound wisdom. You are his understanding and his strength. Thank You that You strengthen him according to Your Word. Thank You that Christ dwells in his heart by faith, and that he is rooted and grounded in Your love. Thank You that You are strengthening him, You are helping him; You are upholding him with the right hand of Your righteousness.

God, You Who are ever watchful and know all that takes place in heaven and earth, grant Your powerful protection upon all who are serving in American military units. Please guard them from all harm and danger of body and soul as You grant success in each battle that moves nations toward justice and lasting peace, for Your glory. Hold close to Your heart those who are battling in Fallujah, that the last vestiges of insurrection and terrorism may be overcome. Grant also Your blessings upon Mr. Blair for his strong support in the fight for freedom for the Iraqi people. May he continue to be a strong ally for our President, and may both of their hearts be strengthened by their friendship.

Help each of us to remember our many blessings this week and to think about Your enduring goodness. We come before You with praise for Your faithfulness toward those who lovingly gather at this prayer thread each day. To You be all the praise and honor, the glory and blessing, Great God! In the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

To: Faith; All
Dearest Heavenly Father,

We come into Your Presence this Lord's Day to Sing Your Praise, to Exalt You and to bring You Glory and Honor. You have been Merciful to us who have deserved no Mercy, Pouring Your Blessings upon us through the Sufferings and Sacrifice of our Christ. This Knowledge Fills us with Wonder and Gratitude, and causes us to mourn more deeply for our sins. Great King, what moved You to leave Your Heavenly Glory to die for sinners such as us? We cannot Fathom the Depths of Your Grace, but we Revence and Adore You for Your Incredible Sacrifice, and Long to live to the Praise of Your Glory.

Thank You, O Merciful Father, that You have looked with Pity upon our America and have Gifted us with our brother-President for four more Blessed years. How Gracious You are, our Glorious King! Your Lovingkindness Abides over our Nation to this day, to the Praise of Your Amazing Grace. May Your Powerful Spirit be our President's Guide, Great King, Counseling him with Heavenly Wisdom in his every decision and judgement he must make. Protect him continually with the Strength of Your Right Arm, holding back those who would wish to do him bodily harm. May his Laura and their daughters be a comfort and a sanctuary to him, a daily haven for solace from the stresses and trials of his life. We Entrust Your servant into Your Hand, Dear Lord, Pleading that the next four years will be beneficial for both him and our beloved America.

We Praise You, Sovereign Master, for Your Keeping Power over our Troops in Fallujah, and beg that Your Spirit would Accompany them continually, Granting All Things Needed for a Swift and Comprehensive and Supernatural Victory. Please open the Door to the spreading of Your Gospel in Iraq and all over the globe, Loving Lord, ushering many from heathen lands into Your Kingdom of Peace and Love.

We ask that Revival would come to our Nation, Sovereign God, and that You would be Glorified in the Salvation of the godless and depraved. We Worship, Adore, Magnify and Love You, and Reverence Your Name, O Glorious God and King of America. We Plead also for the Salvation and Peace of Your Israel, and make our requests in Your Blessed Name, amen.

Precious Heavenly Father, As we read the accounts of the unfolding victory in Fajullah, we are humbled and awed at Your mighty power, for this speedy victory belongs to You! Thank you Father that there have been a relatively small number of casualties so far. Please comfort the families of those who were lost, and let each and every family touched by this battle also know the wonder of your awesome grace and salvation.

Father we think of your persecuted church also, as many of us gather with our local bodies to pray this day for that cause. How blessed we are to live in a place where we may still gather, still openly speak Your Word, without fear for our lives. Many of our bothers and sisters do not enjoy this privledge, but instead must suffer intensely for their testimony. These, Lord we bring before you and ask for Your grace, love and mercy to be poured out on them as they do the task you have set before them. May their faith never waiver Lord. And even some day, if we are called to suffer as they do, let us also count it all joy. May our faith never waiver. May we be faithful in prayer for them.

Lord, please bless and protect our beloved President and his family this day. Let his worship be in Spirit and Truth. Give him grace and courage each day to do Your will.

"God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear..." Ps46

AMEN FAITH AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE TO YOU BRETHREN!

Ps 63:1 A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
7 Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.
9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword; They shall be a portion for jackals.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him shall glory; But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
(NKJV)

Dear Lord,
we thankyou for this very moment that through Your grace we can gather for another time of prayer.
we pray for all of the saints and especially for george walker bush, keep him safe in Your hands and indwell with the courage and knowledge to accomplish what You want him to accomplish in this next four years.
Lord,we pray for all of the defenders of freedom, may they be comforted by Your touch,be safe in Your arms and have Your grace covering their every move.

"Faith or Experience?"

"...the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20
We should battle through our moods, feelings, and emotions into absolute devotion to the Lord Jesus. We must break out of our own little world of experience into abandoned devotion to Him. Think who the New Testament says Jesus Christ is, and then think of the despicable meagerness of the miserable faith we exhibit by saying, "I haven't had this experience or that experience"! Think what faith in Jesus Christ claims and provides - He can present us faultless before the throne of God, inexpressibly pure, absolutely righteous, and profoundly justified. Stand in absolute adoring faith "in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God - and righteousness and sanctification and redemption..." (1 Corinthians 1:30) How dare we talk of making a sacrifice for the Son of God! We are saved from hell and total destruction, and then we talk about making sacrifices!

We must continually focus and firmly place our faith in Jesus Christ - not a "prayer meeting" Jesus Christ, or a "book" Jesus Christ, but the New Testament Jesus Christ, who is God Incarnate, and who ought to strike us dead at His feet. Our faith must be in the One from whom our salvation springs. Jesus Christ wants our absolute, unrestrained devotion to Himself. We can never experience Jesus Christ, or selfishly bind Him in the confines of our own hearts. Our faith must be built on strong determined confidence in Him.

It is because of our trusting in experience that we see the steadfast impatience of the Holy Spirit against unbelief. All of our fears are sinful, and we create our own fears by refusing to nourish ourselves in our faith. How can anyone who is identified with Jesus Christ suffer from doubt or fear! Our lives should be an absolute hymn of praise resulting from perfect, irrepressible, triumphant belief.
