Well, well, well. Rush Limbaugh and CNN newsgal Daryn Kagan's hot and heavy (not to mention surprising) romance is escalating, says U.S. News & World Report's Paul Bedard. Whispers of happily ever after are in the air, and apparently Limbaugh has even talked to Kagan's fam about their future, which can start just as soon as the conservative radio king's third divorce is finalized.

The people I know aren't dummies and have been divorced before. After a 7-12 year tryout period they were already married in the practical sense, so they just made it formal.
Agreed. What I meant was that I wasn't even ready to start dating - marriage was way, way, way, off my radar.
There are, however some good serial marriages: Cheerios & Trix, Cap'n Crunch and Crispix, etc. :)
You don't understand the meaning of the word. You want me to give him absolution and support for his immoral behaviour. That is not mercy. I want him to pull back from his slide into the pit of Hell. If he has indeed at some point in his life accepted Christ then the mercy that God gives him may hurt like the sting of a thousand vipers. Sometimes that's the only thing that works on a stiff necked sinner.

So, in your mind, if one married party wants a divorce and the other doesn't, then the honorable thing is to suck it up and stick it out, regardless the circumstances?
You can't tell me you know Rush's circumstances?
Hell, maybe Marta initiated the divorces due to Rush's drug addition?
Do you think Marta should do the honorable thing and stay married to a recovering drug addict if she wanted out?
3rd one: I waited until 30. Going on 9 years of marriage; 2 lovely little girls; we couldn't be happier.
Did the 3rd one right by waiting a couple of years, really got to know my wife first, lived apart and were celibate before being married; and have utilized the Intimate Life principles - www.greatcommandment.net.
People can marry successfully, even nowadays. If they are on the verge of divorce, they can fix things (my early problems were poor choosing, immaturity and Godless marriages). I was a late bloomer and it took me a lot longer to figure things out than other people. Fortunately my wife accepted me despite my past and could see through it all. It got rough for us at around 5 years, but since then we've become stronger than ever. I'm sure we'll have challenges when daughters reach teenhood, and when they leave home, but we'll make it.
People can succeed in marriage even with a spotted past, but they will have a much better time of it if they approach it in the right way (Intimate Life!).
If you click the link I thoughtfully provided for the source of those "comments" you would see that she was making them in the context of "breaking news"...and there are many, many people in this country who have a hard time with the concept of taking money away from one group of people in order to give things like "free" drugs to another group of people.
One of the people I have heard express objection to that policy is the Maha Rushie himself.
The political opinions we express in a forum like this are not the standard one expects from an objective, non-partisan "professional journalist."

Rush wanted to divorce HER. She did something bad.
We don't know. All we know is that Rush, after rehab, kept sadly saying that he has learned that it is not his responsibility to make someone else happy. He never mentioned "the lovely and gracious Marta" any more. He mentioned being alone a lot, with his cats and the moon.
He played a bunch of sad goodbye type songs on his webcam when he announced his divorce.
He read his emails (threads here too?) where people all assumed Marta was leaving him due to his hiding a heavy opiate addiction from her. (Um... if your spouse doesn't know that simple fact about you, the marriage can't be close.) Then he came on the air the next day and said that Marta insisted he tell everyone on the air that it was HE who initiated divorce proceedings. True or not, she apparently made him say that.
Her political views are irrelevant all that matters now is looks. He can just turn off his implant whenever she starts yammerin about politics.
And being liberal and all she probably doesn't have any sexual inhibitions ;-)
That's how I feel. He is my source for everything and a real hero to me in the talk show world. If he marries this person I wish them luck.
Just an aside but one day Rush said that Bo Snerdly does not exist. He is an immaginary charcter representing the contrarian voice within Rush's own mind. Anybody know?
How will he support his dislike of the MSM to his yet-to-be wife? Almost like a Mary Matalin and James Carville? How can they have a rational political discussion? I think his little head has taken over!

What, were you dating Rush? I doubt he lays awake at night worrying about what his listeners think he should do concerning his love life.
