What about those comments do you find so startling?

If you click the link I thoughtfully provided for the source of those "comments" you would see that she was making them in the context of "breaking news"...and there are many, many people in this country who have a hard time with the concept of taking money away from one group of people in order to give things like "free" drugs to another group of people.

One of the people I have heard express objection to that policy is the Maha Rushie himself.

The political opinions we express in a forum like this are not the standard one expects from an objective, non-partisan "professional journalist."

Also an opinion expressed by the harmless fuzzball.

Of course I went through your link. She wasn't saying, at least in that link, that she favored taking money away from anyone. She was lamenting the fact that so many old people have a hard time with the costs. She may have been agreeing with the other reporter that the bill was being kicked around by congress and that those fumblers up on the hill should do something about the issue. What to do, is not exactly clear from the small comments included...Ma-halo...
