Also, which one of them will be giving up their religion? One of them should, especially if they do have kids. How old is she? Has Rush even thought about all this????
Mary makes me cringe. I still like her but I don't trust her. I guess wanting to be a mother can make a woman do just about anything. Somehow when she looks at that piece of garbage Lizardhead she just sees the father of her children and maybe he's a good dad. They say that women are truly stronger than men. I believe it.
This man believes that. That's why they are the ones that give birth. Either that or God's a man and therefor wouldn't want to inflict such a thing on his fellow men :-)
Rather I try to teach the virtues and how to recognize them in others and emulate that conduct.
BTW, Sam, agree 100% with yours on divorce.
Agreed.
I hear Marta is now demanding 22 Million per Year!
" hear Marta is now demanding 22 Million per Year!"
lmao!! You mean Mrs. Arafat has a sister?!!
Speak for yourself!
FYI: people who cohabit before marriage have a higher divorce rate than people who don't. Of course these are just averages and there are exceptions (like the people you know). But I wouldn't recommend it as a way to improve a marriage.
No way! Man, does Rush keep the lawyers in Palm Beach busy or WHAT??
RUSH! THINK TWICE!!
I'll weigh in on this, Rush should do whatever he wants, period. Personally, I would not marry more than once and it'd end either with my death or my wife wanting out. Now, how do some of us here know, in Rush's case, whether or not his wives (not HE) wanted a divorce? I don't know but it won't surprise me if it were the wives who wanted the divorces. If this is the case, I credit the man for having faith in marriage, wish him well and ask people here to LEAVE HIM ALONE!
I have a question for all the happy-clappy Rush fans on this thread. Did Marta want a divorce? If she didn't, is what Rush doing dishonorable?
And Wineguy doesn't have a problem with alcohol?
i do not respect her. in my opinion you cannot hold your conservative philosophy as a priority in your life and marry someone that doesn't share it. i just don't see it. maybe if it is someone that is just casually a conservative, but not someone that considers conservatism as part of their core. i don't see how either of them, carville or matlin, can seriously hold those beliefs and share their LIVES with someone who holds diametrically opposed beliefs.
of course, i agree, but good GRIEF, he isn't just DATING immediately after a marriage breakup, if rumors are correct he is thinking of remarriage. he cannot value marriage very much if it is true.
By all means, be sure not to give any 'mercy' to Rush!
As if we are pestering Rush. I have NEVER taken down one of our favorites, never been on the Hannity-bashing threads except to praise him.
Rush might have some close real-life friends who are raising an eyebrow over his plans, but do they have the cojones to tell him that?
However, Rush knows that a peek at an unvarnished Freeper thread is going to give him a zillion opinions on his doings. If several people express some sort of WARNING for him and he goes ahead with his plans, at least we did the right thing.
I wish Rush nothing but success, health, and happiness. He knows he is free to do what he wants.
Yet he needs a couple of checks and balances and we can help him there. We have been there for him through all of this. We remember the bumps, even if Daryn's curves have him forgetting them.
And it sounds like he is not finished with a NASTY divorce! I did not know about Marta's demands.
