Do you really believe that those that would outlaw ALL abortions were what gave Bush his victory? If you do then you are so wrong it is mind boggling. I am anti-abortion as a form of birth control but I am NOT against abortion for rape, incest OR life/health of the mother . I am glad you voted for GW but you have no more claim on his victory than those that voted for him on 2nd amendment issues, tax issues, defense issues, gay marriage issues or any other raft of issues that caused an individual to pull the lever for a GOP candidates.

I never said we were the only reason he won. I said that without our votes, he would not have won. Yes, everyone added to his victory.
I just don't understand people who say they are pro-life, but then say, except for rape and incest. How is that baby any less a baby than a baby born of love? He or she is still a baby. It may be difficult for the mother, but it's only 9 months of her life compared to the 80 years the baby may enjoy.

Where do you get "would outlaw ALL abortions"?
The "health" reason is too broad, there is rarely a need to abort due to rape or incest. (Many rape victims choose to continue the life of their children and punish the rapist, instead)
This is not an "all or none." The 2nd Amendment, defence and tax cuts should all be protected, but Specter can not be counted on and should not be rewarded. Specter made it a single issue. He proved to us, again, that he can not be trusted to support the right to life any more than he can be trusted to vote according to US rather than Scottish law.
