We don't affect national politics? I'm pretty sure Bush would not have been elected if we hadn't voted. I can't believe all the pro-life haters on FR, considering Jim Robinson himself is pro-life. Maybe you'd like to tell Jim he doesn't affect national politics?

Do you really believe that those that would outlaw ALL abortions were what gave Bush his victory? If you do then you are so wrong it is mind boggling. I am anti-abortion as a form of birth control but I am NOT against abortion for rape, incest OR life/health of the mother . I am glad you voted for GW but you have no more claim on his victory than those that voted for him on 2nd amendment issues, tax issues, defense issues, gay marriage issues or any other raft of issues that caused an individual to pull the lever for a GOP candidates.
