Tell me about this man-date of yours! And how does he smell in the morning?!

And when you say 'idiot', is that an acronym for Intelligent, Dashing, Impervious, Obstinent, Teddybear?

Stop flirting with me... ;0

First, for the record, I know for a fact that I don't know everything. Probably less than 1 percent of everything.

Second, I worked my a$$ off for Bush both times and the GOP in my state and I have a right to hold them to the Pro-Life Pro-Family planks of the platform.

Don't you get it Hildy! The GOP is a Pro-Life Pro-Family Party; read the Convention book. I'm holding them accountable.

It is you're side in the minority. You should join with your NARAL sisters and form the abortion party.

Life begins at conception. Abortion is Murder. But God loves and forgives all who are sorry. God is the LORD of Life--NOT death.

So we should have sat on our hands after specter made his comments last week?

No, but your headiness is beginning a backlash.

Threatening Senators like Santorum and Cornyn are, frankly, hacking off some of us who dislike strong-arm tactics.

Make your point, but your "or else" is childish, IMO.

That's what I thought...pro-aborters have NOTHING but bad law and contorted arguments, at best.

Defending the indefensible must pay you well, because it requires a near, if not total, moral bankruptcy gone to seed...

No one seems to have a problem when God commits an abortion (otherwise known as a miscarriage)!

Hey Sinkspur! Glad to see you join the fray! Prepare to be frayed!

Bush wins the election, and the far-right-fringies think they're going to start calling the shots.

This "do this or we won't vote" stuff is juvenile.

Pro-abort

It is wonderous to behold such articulateness on the part of someone who apes modern science. It isn't even grammatical.

Sir, I beg your pardon. I did not mean to say that libertarians believe that. *I* believe that. I even point out in my post that I am *not* a libertarian.

What I posted was simply my thought process as to how *I* justified killing.

I assume this is that part you had a problem with:

The death penalty works far better than other punishments in my humble opinion. ... minimization of the oppression of personal rights by the government for the protection of life (a personal right) from other individuals. That's my opinion anyway. Which incidentally should make it ideal from a libertarian viewpoint.

Please note,
Incidentally: Apart from the main subject; parenthetically.

What I was trying to say is, this is what I believe, these are my reasons. Perhaps they would also appeal to you as a libertarian. Not this is what you believe as a libertarian.

I believe your problem with my post was one of semantics, and I apologize for not being more clear. That being said, what are you saying differently from me? I believe the punishment should not be for vengeance, you seem to believe the same thing.

I believe in the death penalty not because of vengeance but because it is a deterrent. If the death penalty was worse as a deterrent I would be against it. I do not think that the death penalty should be because of vengeance.

Life is full of judgements!

I had to judge whether or not you were worth posting to, for instance. A mother judges whether her child will be welcomed or slaughtered in a way more cowardly than the head-cutters warring against us.

It's right and wrong that people can't accept - for their own selfish, ignorant, misguided reasons. Usually darkness and/or ignorance...

BTW, if I recall correctly the Episcopalian church was the first major denomination to come out in favor of artificial birth control in the 1930s.

And your point would be???? BTW, I don't agree with much that the Episcopal Church has to say these days.

I did my Roman studies in divinity school, thanks very much, and obviously didn't convert. I am afraid I'm pretty Protestant, TYVM.

More to the point, perhaps 80% of your cohorts should read JPII's writing, since they're all busy practicing birth control. The Irish have it down to an art form.

CHRISTINATY'S UNIQUE CAPACITY
TO DESTROY THE CULTURE OF DEATH

If you meant to say "Christianity" in that sentence, then you have a spelling error on your site and may want to correct it since you are trying to expand your supporters (spelling counts).

You blame Catholics for abortion being legal, then blahblah about drawing more "Christins" in...? Sheesh. You won't do it like that.

I know I love seeing people with their panties in a bunch.
If God is all powerful, everything that happens is according to his will. If God were against abortions there wouldnt be any. Only man tries to claim whats in gods mind. All aborted babies go straight to God for redistribution. In heaven everything is fine!
