Sentence them both to a year and a day in the state prison, with specific instructions that they be in general population.
I guarantee neither of them will make it to the one year mark.
Actually, that would be too kind a sentence wouldn't it?
This makes my blood boil.

my word....if I were the deputies in this case, I'da had to be tempted to give a little 'justice' on my own...IMAGINE the pain this tiny little thing has gone thru....there is not enuff punishment in "this" world fit for this psycho ...

This should warrant the death penalty. How dare he say he wanted another chance to take care of the baby. I fear some liberal CPS and judge will someday allow that.

I want a chance to get close enough to make you endure the excruciating pain you caused that poor little baby - and leave you also without medical treatment or pain killers. MONSTER... I am normally a mild-mannered, friendly person. People that would harm an innocent little baby are deserving of the worst torment human minds can devise - and I freely admit to a murderous rage when I hear about this kind of abuse.

May seem cruel to some but seems to me that while meting out the punishment to the dad the mom needs to get a taste of what her baby daughter got. No rehabilitation is possible for people like this. They prey on children. Once you've crossed that line, you forfeit your life. If we don't kill them, sterilize them. I say don't waste our resources, kill them.
These people are terrorists in our midst. Treat them as such. Just remember, when they got back home, they threw the sling for the baby away.
