It's been cold here in Texas, a little snow in the Panhandle for a day or two. That's how long snow lasts around here, a day or two.
When we are lucky enough to get a beautiful snow, I can't stay out of it. Everything looks fresh and new, like a wonderland.
When I visited Alaska I could not get over the size of the snow flakes, I went for a walk and it was as silent as a Cathedral, then it really turned on and I could only see a few feet in front of me. I didn't get into trouble, but I realized how easy one could get into trouble there if they don't know what they are doing.
I absolutely love it when it snows. And quiet as a Cathedral is a perfect description.
