Jeez. Sounds like the lawyer I knew who didn't want to let his secretary go to the hospital when her son broke his leg at school. He needed her at work much more than her son needed her at the hospital. Thank God she wasn't intimidated and she went anyway.
I hate the bad rap lawyers get, but sometimes they (mostly the men) deserve it. : )
I use to work at a law firm and one day one of the Partners brought his kids into work and told his secretary to watch them and also get all the typing done
Well the secretary did her typing and the kids went into the copy room and proceeded to take the ink stamps and stamp their 4 yr old brother with "URGENT" .. "COPY" .. "CONFIDENTIAL" all over his arms and face .. LOL
Let's just day it was the last time the partner brought his kids into work
