Geragos won't say a word; the Petersons are out of money, so we won't be seeing him around.
This case will no be reversed; changing jurors is not a reason to reverse a verdict.
I agree; can't remember the last case that won on appeal anyway.
He loses this case, lost the Winona Ryder case, and couldn't keep Susan McDougal out of jail, either.
I don't get it.
Looks like Scott will have to cancel his tee times with OJ to help him search the world's golf courses for the real killers.
you're correct and the precedent was set as these juror's left so it couldn't be fought on appeal, they were told in chamber's this is not open for appeal
Hi Howlin,
I agree that Geragos most likely won't be back, but I just feel there are appealable dfenses here.
The deliberations. the jury rocking the boat, the dismissals, etc....
I hope he rots for life in Prison, I just feel the judge should have declared a mistrial when given a chance, instead of hoping he could somehow hold a jury together on a death penalty case.
If the judge errored by allowing the boat issue, that is an appeal basis. By not allowing the defense to show their demonstration and then allowing the Jurors to experiment will be the hanging chad, IMHO.
Then round two, the prosecution will learn from their mistakes, and hopefully the new jury will find him guilty as well.
This judge erored, IMHO, and others, and I think there is a good basis for appeal.
I could be wrong, but I feel I will be right, we will see. I usually have a good nose for these types of things.
Regards,
Joe
