The people of the US were asked whether they support Pres. Bush and his policies or not. Bush received a majority of support. Seems like a mandate to me.

It's a good idea if they don't get over it. Let them continue to think that their present course of action will sway the American people. It will ensure GOP victories in '06 and '08.
