PARIS - BULLETIN: Al-Jazeera television and The Associated Press are reporting that Yasser Arafat is dead.

Earlier, as a top Islamic cleric read passages from the Quran at Yasser Arafat's hospital bedside Wednesday, a Palestinian official gave the bleakest assessment yet of the leader’s condition, saying he is suffering from kidney and liver failure and that his brain is only partially functioning.

I think the French claim that he is still alive and they are giving him a post in their cabinet.

Something tells me this S.O.B. will not ride off into the sunset like President Reagan this past summer.

I am kind of morbidly hoping those nutjobs rip off his garments and drag his body to the ground like they did in Iran with the Ayatollah.

And now for a note from our sponser regarding terrorism:

Real freedom fighters are not terrorists and terrorists certainly are not freedom fighters. Freedom fighters implies legitimate resistance and terrorism (the act of murdering innocent civilians for political gain) can never be justified as legitimate. It really does not matter if the Arabs consider terrorism legitimate or for whatever reason -- it matters what the world thinks as a whole. This is the crux of the problem with Arabs -- why they can't grasp this is beyond me. But until they realize this, they will continue down their backwards path in civilization. Terrorists have no rights and nobody cares how they are eliminated. An example is Palestine. The Palestinian terrorist movement has done so much harm to this people, that these people are already doomed for the next 100 years to live as rats in poverty, because business will not thrive there and noone cares what happens to them now that Arafat has led them down the path to hell.

Jimmy Peanut says he's just dying to go, too. Bush should not allow ANY official US delegation whatsoever. If disgraced former presidents want to go, let it be at their own cost and without any official US sanction.

NO WAY should we be giving the slightest recognition to this career terrorist. Let's remember that Arafart contributed more to the rise of international terrorism than any other individual. Sure, there have been plenty of other bloodthirsty practitioners, but Arafart pioneered modern terrorism, including airplane hijacking.
