I think this is both thoughtful and interesting and I need to read it again. Just two things for now. Would Rousseau be a more appropriate reference than Voltaire, and I would fix the following typo, even though it gave me a pleasant chuckle; "hunting, trapping, skinning, or meat-eating by "indigenous pipples?

"Indigenous pipples" is the way it is usually pronounced by those worthies, as in the famous phrase "deze are de wayz of my pipples."

Then of course there are the "palestinians" who are "piss loving pipples."
