They are discussing this currently on Court TV.

I do not see this as good news for the prosecution. You have a chick who could not wait to be on the jury. Another let go for doing an experiement, another gone for what ever reason who was both a lawyer and doctor.

It is better then a daily soap. In the end will Peterson receive a fair trial.

There are so many items for the appeals case. wow

lol At this rate, a mistrial would be a relief.

Let's go for a new trial and another run at 1st degree, rather than settle for 2nd, just to get the case over with before we run out of alternates. :-(

lol

Maybe Johnny can get himself a job on the defense and sweet talk the jury into into guilty, and the state give Scott $$$.

Foreman sounded obsessive, compulsive, indecisive. The jury would've been locked forever.

If it was the MD/Lawyer, I say good too. He was probably droning on as their eyes glazed over. He's the guy with the endless notes, right? I bet without him they would have come back in after a day with "guilty".

I think the total is 3 replacements - remember the guy who was removed before deliberations began?

I just feel for her family (Laci's) - having your child and grandchild's murder turned into this freak show would be devastating to me.
Why would a doctor/lawyer be dismissed?

There was too much publicity of this case from the beginning. Some "news" networks dedicated entire segments to the Peterson trial.

The jury wasn't sequestered and it had to be next to impossible for them to "avoid" digesting bits of information from television, newspapers or overhearing people talking about it.

There's probably very few jurors who were tainted in one way or another, IMO.

Yeah, the guy named Falconer. Geeze he's been on round tables with lawyers being treated like he's some expert. His 15 minutes were gone a long time ago.

This gives the prosecution time to locate the anchors.

"They picked a new jury foreman? I guess they didn't want the guy with 19 notebooks full of notes to be their foreman anymore."

As I understand it the guy who was allowed to leave was the foreman; juror #5 and he had replaced the previous juror #5 who was dismissed a couple of months ago whe the 1st #5 was seen on tape talking to Laci's brother.

Juror #6 is the new foreman.

There is another juror who may leave due to an impending surger.

There are 3 alternates left.

FoxNews just reporting that the past #5 is the attorney for a drug company and might have some issues with the DNA evidence.

These scummy lawyers look too happy. They're probably celebrating victory too early.

Jury shakeup
Just one day after the judge kicked a member off the jury deliberating Scott Peterson's murder case, another juror, the foreman, has been removed and replaced with an alternate. Update soon.

CourtTV describes it is like a coup.

New foreperson: 6 30'2 foreperson skeptical of media sources, looked disinterested in the trial. Firefighter and paramedic.

juror #5 who was dismissed today, gave a note to the judge asking that he keep the media away from the jurors home, fat chance!

= = = = = = =
Funny things was when I clicked on CourtTV they were talking about the defense attorney and his boat being parked near by the court house, how quickly things change.
