How do you know that he did this "knowing that at least one of them will send it"? You don't. To write this post as if you did is dishonest.

There is nothing leftist about his assignment, a libertarian might have easily done the same. If you want to talk about some of his other activities that's something different but there is nothing in the original post, the one to which we replied, that even hints at "leftist propoganda"...try to color inside the lines.

No, I think that I use the actual words and info in the post and you add whatever comes to mind as if it were fact.

Have you taught kids in junior college? I have. You just don't put these ideas into their heads. Most of them aren't going to act on them, but some inevitably will. Ballou's been in this system for 25 years and he knows good and well how impulsive and immature some of these students are.The school administration and Ballou's own colleagues came down on him for this very reason. And the school president wasn't too pleased to learn that Ballou had been assigning this same "exercise" to more than one class.

Now there I confess you've got a point. I've been following this on the blogs and I already knew the man was on the left before I read the article. If you go here you can read Ballou's rambling self-defense in which he praises president Clinton and casts all the usual lies and insults at President Bush, eg. that he's a blundering lightweight, that he got into Yale only because of who his father was, that he got only C's (untrue), that he embarked on "illegal" threats of violence to heads of state, that he belongs in jail, that we should fear this administration more than AQ or OBL -- on and on. He prattles about such leftist fetishes as "social ecology." If you read the response's below Ballou's apologia, you'll see that every poster pegs him for a leftist, not a "libertarian," not even a Peter Pan libertarian.
Administrators, faculty and parents agree that he was way out of line and, from the information I've just supplied, it should be clear that he's not only a leftist but a nutcase as well. The only reason he's keeping his job is the union.
