I would certainly support the president if he chose Lieberman.

Still, I can remember the president in one of the debates declaring that one mistake he made was in making appointments.

I think he'll stay in the party.

President Bush has one thing going for him that no twice elected president has had going into his second term since FDR: He has the majority in both houses of congress, and a generally favorable US Supreme Court.

The president needs to go for it all, with absolutely no compromise.

I agree. A Connecticut Republican would probably do little good in the Senate anyway.
