I identify myself as mainly a republican, with some libertarian leanings. Some things the republicans have right, some are wrong. Same with the libertarians.
Where they both lose me is when they go for expedience and personal desires rather than obeying the constitution. Both parties have that fault in some ways.
But enough about me. Let's see about you.
I assume you're a law abiding citizen. You're sitting at home one night. You hear someone trying to kick the door in. They get in and rush towards the room you are in yelling 'police' or 'DEA' or 'FBI', or whatever agency you wish to dream about. You don't know whether they are law enforcement or not at this point. They could be criminals there to rob or kill you.
You have your choice: Do you fall to the ground with your hands over your head, ready to be at their mercy, or do you grab a gun and defend yourself?
Just curious as to how you'd handle it.

No, I didn't. You asked a rather silly, baiting question: "Can't wait to see how this gets blamed on the police."
I gave you an answer as to how it could be. Again, it's not the fault of the police. It's the criminals. But people have been conditioned to be sheep in this country.
Apparently in some cases you like that.
Please explain the point of your line of debate - is it merely trying to lure in someone who opposes the WOD, or are you after those who think that the police should seldom if ever resort to no knock issuance of warrants?
Or are you merely trying to start an argument which has little or nothing to do with the content of the thread?

Great non-response. Glad to see you evading the question. You're living up to my low expectations quite readily.
Now try to actually answer the question. You are in a town where you are not known to the local authorities - just like most normal citizens. The incident I described happens -what do you do?
Don't evade - give an answer.
They got their s*** together. They might be born here. Might be gang bangers. But the rule of thumb is the more vicious the ethnic gang, the more likely they were not born here. They got that vicious 3rd world hell hole stuff hard wired into them.
Miami, Detroit and LA are full of serious bad gangs that are all home grown.

Hell, I'll go you one better using your situation - give you an alternate question based on your 'reality'.
You KNOW that you are a known entitity to the police in your area. But you hear the knocking and kicking open of your door, and hear someone yelling 'police' or 'FBI'.
Do you wait for them passively or grab a gun and defend yourself?
Or do you log onto free republic and make oh-so-witty wisecracks about 'losertarians'?

Spare yourself to tortured and tormented examples, they're really quite ridiculous.
If I were "baiting" I'd be bragging about the big mouthed bass I caught.
Remember during Clinton's reign that "local cops" were seldom involved in many of the no knock raids. Those raids normally targeted conservatives or political enemies who just happened to own something that certain political chiefs wanted to add to their collections - whether it was real estate, large gun collections, money, etc. Quite often the objects of the warrants were never found, but mysteriously the occupants of the homes being raided somehow resisted 'arrest' and were executed on site.
The practice has nearly stopped completely under president Bush, but there are still some instances of Federal LEOs who think they are above the same laws they enforce, or that think their version of the same crimes is justified due to their performing a "public service".
I fully support law enforcement, and work with my local sheriff's department whenever I possibly can because they have earned my respect through their professionalism - as well as their refusal to conduct no knock raids unless there is a life at stake. The DEA/BATF/IRS JBTs under Clinton/Reno were bordering on becoming paramilitary death squads, IMO.
As far as shocking and revolting sadism by gang members I think I'm right. Aside from that, ethnic gangs are on the rise in Europe and America. Whether they be first or second generation (legal/illegal) immigrants. The Albanian Mafia and other Muslim gangs control heroin in Italy and Europe. They terrorized the Italian Mafia into submission

You can't back up your positions at all. Your capacity to engage in a real debate on an issue is on par with that of Michael Moore: Make some snipes, try to upset as many people as you can, get some precious attention you crave, and then run away.
Oh, and be sure to announce that you actually 'won' after you've been discredited repeatedly.

Wow, you're clever. I bet the sheriff's department misses your wit and intellect. Or they found a suitable replacement in the form of a potted plant.
We have a very low crime rate in our community. If I actually heard someone outside my door yelling police I'd just wonder who wanted to borrow what now?

LOL! Actually I answered your first tortured question with reality. You continue to run around in a circle of your hypothetical...I prefer living in the real world.
No, they aren't hiring and I doubt you have the qualifications anyway. But if you keep looking I'm sure you can find something as equally unchallenging.
