Uh, have you seen the RENTS in San Francisco? Its Oakland and Richmond that are filled with those on the dole in the Bay area.

I know rent in SF went through the roof during the Dot.Com blitz -- if anyone could find a place to rent at all; then read they were in decline due to the dropping demand after the bust.

But if rent is so high why, with low interest rates, haven't more people been able to purchase in SF compared to the rest of the country.

As to Richmond and Oakland -- what can anyone say about that? How is Jerry Brown doing as Mayor of Oakland?
