I don't know about anyone else but I am going to heaven because I accept the lord as my Savior not because I voted for Bush.

You really think there's a possibility that some people here, at FR, think they will go to heaven simply because they voted for President Bush? Are you ok?

LOL You misunderstand my statement.

According to this article/interview Dowd is saying she is going to heaven and conservatives are going to hell. I am assuming she is also generally saying that if you voted for Kerry you are going to heaven and if you voted for Bush you are going to hell.

I am just stating that it is preposterous to think that you are going anywhere based on who you voted for.

Her thinking just shows how out of whack the left is.... not something we didn't already know.

Let me say it another way.

I am going to heaven because I believe I am a good person and believe that my faith will grant me ascension to heaven NOT who I voted for.
