An open letter to the Red-State victors(Barf Alert)

An open letter to the Red-State victors: With hard work and superb organization, you have triumphed over John Kerry and the forces of Blue-state paternalism. Congratulations. The multinational corporations that hold you in bondage remain free to profit off your sweat nearly tax free, while their overpaid senior execs continue to pay a pittance in personal income tax.

Your primary and secondary schools will continue to turn out third-rate pupils with limited opportunities, while you enjoy the satisfaction of making it on your own without health care when a catastrophic illness bankrupts your family.

Your agricultural universities will continue issuing Ph.D.s in football, and bogus Protestant Evangelical and Fundamentalist theology, and how to jerk off a bull safely. Your children will learn to borrow enough money to erect chicken houses so that they, like you, can take custody -- not possession, but custody -- of Tyson's chicks, feed them, rear them, assume losses from those that fail to thrive, and in the end earn just enough money to service their endless debt, and realize a profit of perhaps $12K a year. Your bank thanks you; Tyson thanks you; George W. Bush thanks you; and I thank you.

I love it when self described intellectuals who think they have the insight on the true nature of things, and try to pass off that wisdom to us write columns. The irony of it all is that they just end up looking like utter fools for being so pitifully wrong about all they think they are right on. All this article is good for is a laugh at the total arrogance and ignorance this writer displays.

Tyson! I still won't buy Tyson due to their coziness with Clinton.

And why do I get the idea the business with the bull is a fantasy of our author here...

LOL

Tyson Chicken, which now also owns IBP, is a huge (hugh) supporter of the Clintons.

Wow. So pursuasive. I think I'm going to change my vote next election. I realize after reading that that my understanding of the world has been deficient. It is nice to listen to insightful words from other people once in a while to expand my horizons.

Also, we must all work diligently in the coming months to convince “progressives” that the Democratic Party has let them down. They must abandon the party. Their only recourse is to join and work for the Green Party moving forward. I may even register as a Green Party member to swell their voter registration rolls. Divide and conquer.

Begin with putting all known “progressives” in your sphere of influence on the Green Party mail list from their website. Great fun. Start inundating them with information now.

This clown deserves to live under a dictator since he wants the government to make all the serious choices in life. He will continue to focus on what he is best at the simple choice. For instance, if he should watch Entertainment Tonight or not. LOL!

when do you think the libs will realize that I, as a Conservative, WANT corporations to take advantage of me tax free. After all no business ever pays taxes. The only people who pay taxes are those who work for a living for a business (whether profit of non-profit). Those who work for the government and are on various social programs, they do not actually pay taxes because their income is just our tax dollars.

If they have it so good and we have it so bad, why are they the ones writing this rank sour grapes bilge?

Let's hope they keep on believing this and telling everyone in loud shrill tones. It simply guarantees that our base really understands the opposition. Had they been capable of graciousness in defeat, most Americans would have been content to forget about the election and go about our lives. Since they are not, we will keep on organizing and increasing those margins until there are simply a few blue urban cesspools left, instead of entire states.

Oh, wait........

our schools produce children of character who learned that hard work will enable them to accomplish great things. they may be third rate by your standards, but they are driving the global economy.

kerry lost because he and the dems lack leadership. bush won because he stands by his principles and is not afraid to let the american people know what they are and how he uses them to set policy.

red states rule....blue states drool (but then if kerry were elected, socialized medicine would probide them with drool buckets...)

shouldn't that have said "Blue Cities" or counties and not states?

That map of the country by county is very telling.

From the other part of the article: "You recycle quasi-religious platitudes and received slogans. You know nothing of moral theology, a rigorous philosophical pursuit that hardly exists outside the Catholic Church and its elite universities. You make of the Bible what you will; you attend prayer meetings with other semi-literates, where you reinforce each other's sloppy understandings of the text, and combine them with half-digested bits of old-timey Hallmark-card 'wisdom.'"

The moral theology of the Catholic Church teachs with certainity that 1. Abortion is evil always and everywhere and 2. Homosexuality is disordered and "gay marriage" is an anathema.

Has this guy never stepped foot out of Boston?

Wow, this guy sure is upset! Actually, while the sterotypes are just plain fictional, he did say something that someone I know told me and that was the red-state, blue-state map showed a failure of the US Education system in educating people so that they think right!

That kind of stunned me. It also shows where there NEA & Liberal left may intend to attack next. We may start to see a greater degree of political brainwashing and demanding of conformity of politically correct thought in our countries high schools.

AS to this UK newspaper piece of trash, the leftie doesn't have a clue!

I'm getting pretty fed up with this "now see what you have done" messages, especially from the Poms.

Hey bangerbreath, we won, now STFU. Your stupid little country is still there, you are still eating, drinking and working like always, thanks to 4 years of Bush. Listen to your wiser countrymen, and leave the US the hell alone. We are not interested in your snivelling little letters, which demonstrate nothing but your self-glorifying ignorance.

Okay, Okay I got a great idea, the Homosexual movement was effective in squelching dissent by labeling any dissenters as homophobes. So lets make up a name for those who hate the red states, and those who are scared of the red states. Anyone got any good ideas for a label?
