A moving piece.
Late night prayer bump for our troops .... may our Lord protect and keep them.
The first time I heard that song was at Ronald Reagan's funeral. I still have tears when I listen to it.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. the Lord will guard your going out and coming in from this time forth and forever.
Psalm 121
A thousand may fall at your side.
And ten thousand at your right hand.
But it will not approach you.
You will only look on with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.
Psalm 91, 7-10
Did that little flag on his arm give him away? ;-)
Re: what's up with that?
I'm sure that it was Iraqis or highly unlikely a SF detachment.

English Translation
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
When they come I will stand my ground
Stand my ground I'll not be afraid
Thoughts of home take away my fear
Sweat and blood hide my veil of tears
Once a year say a prayer for me
Close your eyes and remember me
Never more shall I see the sun
For I fell to a Germans gun
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Where before many more have gone
In memory of Sgt. Charles Stuart MacKenzie
Seaforth Highlanders
Who along with many others gave up his life
So that we can live free
We will remember them

Wonderful pictures.
Upon further thought, I have a major problem with picture #7. They could be the bastards that beheaded the innocents.
What is missing? Gees, Women. Where are there girl friends, their wives? No, I'm not buying this. These bastards are sneeking out from under our nose.
