Anyone beside me out there that would still like him to sign that 180 form so we can see all his records?
Now that the campaign is over, should the MSM make a serious effort to ask, or are they going to keep looking in Texas National Guard records for the next four years?
Yeah, I know it's an old word, but I find it surprising that Kerry would have used it. It is weird. It's almost as if Newsweek is trying to muddy their own story. Was Edwards flipped out over that Kerry met with "terrorist" or with the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong? What's the big diff?
If Edwards (and Newsweek) didn't know that Kerry had met with the NVM and VC than he is even more stupid that I thought.
BTW, the rest of the article is just full of howlers, such as this:
"Kerry wanted the truth to come out, but he wanted to get it out in his own careful, deliberate way. The former prosecutor wanted to marshal the evidence, to build a case that would hold up. But that took time, and in the world of bloggers and 24/7 talking heads on cable, every day spent fact checking was a day lost."
What a crock! How hard is it to fact check the truth when you lived through it? I thought these events were seared--seared on his mind.
Kerry is a pathological liar, and it looks like the media and his family have known it all along.
They need to keep driving stakes through this jerks "history so that he will have no chance to be reelected for a Senate seat EVER again.
Good God - there is no end to this is there? I am so hoping that this story doesn't go away and that the military will continue it's investigation into the oddities of his medals, etc.
In other words, "he needed to get his story straight." LOL
Thanks.
He's so Frenchly urbane.
Guess he was ahead of all of us.
Find another crime & the "pardon" won't hold, right?
That bit of news has been all over the internet for quite sometime. The media just over looked it, like they overlooked the fact that he refused to release is military records, did not address his senatorial career, naver did say what his plans were, and etc......
(All of you whom have run into me on the threads these last two weeks know what I am about to write.)
This is another example of how Karl Rove is luckier than he will ever be good. Ann Coulter is on the mark.
Who in the government or MSM started using the word "terrorist?" I think Rush or Glenn mentioned it several weeks back, but don't remember.
Is there chance John Kerry, as a senator, coined the word?
Correct on all counts.
He was incredibly naive to think that he would be able to reason with terrorists or the VietCong and get results. They probably thought he was a joke.
The MSM wonders why they are becoming obsolete.
You are exactly right. Liberals never give up. After a loss, they slink into the weeds, lick their wounds, and circle around searching for a weakness to attack. We have won a battle in a much more serious war for the soul of the USA. Be vigilant. They will definitely be back.
"Who in the government or MSM started using the word "terrorist?""
Personally speaking, I don't remember hearing it used until around the 1968 Munich Olympics. (Thanks again, Arafat.)
I do think it was more popular in Europe, where it was used for the Algerians and others.
I'm with you tonk! Kerry needs to be out of the Senate...heck, he should have never been there in the first place.
Hmmm...if it was used in connection with the Munich Olympics in 1968 the possibility of John Kerry using the word in 1970-71 isn't so far-fetched.
"Hmmm...if it was used in connection with the Munich Olympics in 1968 the possibility of John Kerry using the word in 1970-71 isn't so far-fetched."
Actually I mistyped. Sorry. The Munich Olympics and massacre were in 1972.
...dropped the ball...
more like rolled it under the table.
What is trully amazing, according to the article in Newsweek, Kerry wanted to defend his actions against the Swiftee's, but the campaign wouldn't let him. Hmmm, I wonder why? The idiot still believes he did nothing wrong and his intentions were honorable. He actually believes he did the Vietnam Vets and POW's a service.
