It would have to be a monumental error for him to be impeached and convicted given our majorities in the House and Senate.

That is why our +4 in the Senate was so huge. The RATs would love nothing more than to impeach W, but they simply do not have enough votes to even make a credible attempt.

The Senate does not have a role in the impeachment process. That is entirely a House matter.

The Senate can only act to remove or acquit AFTER the House has impeached the president.
