I find it particularly satisfying that the high ranking military suck-ups whose lack of integrity led them to desert their commander-in-chief and follow a lying cheat, even though they knew, or should have known, that his dismissal from the Navy was "less than honorable," as detailed in the military record that he refused to release. And, finally, I must express my unbounded gratification at the defeat of Senator Kerry... His dishonorable quest for medals and a quick return to the US, where he turned against his shipmates and lied about their actions resulted in a less than honorable separation from the Navy. Jimmy Carter's amnesty allowed him to file for, and get, an honorable discharge 18 years after he left the service. He should have received a court martial.
Are these discharge allegations properly documented yet? If not, will they ever be? I don't know whether to believe this or not. If it's true, how was it covered up so effectively before the election?

GLOAT
I seem to remember a few weeks ago, some higher up in the DNC telling an interviewer "The Republicans better pray they win". I dunno, kinda sorta struck me as an unveiled threat, kinda sorta....

Man, as my son said, this election is the gift that keeps on giving. No doubt! Its sweetness just keeps unfolding.
Reading that letter by Admiral Van Orden made me so happy all over again. He nailed it.
This is one of the finest and truest slapdowns I've read in a while. Admiral Van Orden wields a powerful and intelligent pen. He's captured so many of our thoughts and feelings so well.
And the Left thinks these military types are dumb. Wrong!
Three cheers for Admiral Van Orden, and of course President Bush.

Now is the time to play the GLOATFEST music for that dem husband of yours and tell him straight up, he's in the wrong party and it's time for him to face reality and come join the big tent party, the party that will be in power for the next 40 years!

You've met me and know that I am nothing if not low key. His parents raised him to be a Hubert Humphrey democrat. He thinks the solution to all problems is bigger government. Strangely, they also raised him to be very compassionate (personally) and responsible, with a great love and appreciation for family.
I look at him as a microcosm of the democrat party as a whole...well intentioned but misguided. Hopefully, the results of Bush's tax reform and judicial reform will produce the same incontrovertible results as welfare reform. He is so "open minded" that he has debated with me at the dinner table for years, producing two more conservatives with our third not eligible to vote until 2012.
He took the political test at ok cupid and discovered that he is a democrat, and I am a republican and our daughter is a capitalist. Too funny! He could have just looked at our voter's registration cards!

Outstanding commentary Sir! You obviously were not appointed to flag officer rank during the late nineties. Most disgusting of all the syncophants were men in uniform who sold their souls for Kerry. I hope that President Bush and SecDef Rumsfield finish cleaning out the detretis left over from the klinton regime in his second term.
To: Dutchgirl
I tried that test too and it said I was a capitalist, which is true, but it avoids key issues, (it's from a dating service and 2/3 of the test takers were Kerry voters).
Anyhow, you know him and love him and that's all that really matters anyway. AT least he doesn't run you off the road or spit on your car.
