I too do not understand this pre-occupation with his ill health. He is very old, very sick, and most likely dying. I don't really care WHAT he dies of, he's lived far too long as it is, he's done nothing good in his entire life.

If Arafat has AIDS and has practiced homosexuality secretly for years, it should be made public. Clearly he didn't practice 'safe sex', whatever that is. The Arab culture/world treats homosexuals as pariahas, but maybe this would change if they knew that someone they supposedly love and look up to was a homosexual, himself, and indeed died of AIDs. Think of what Rock Hudson's final illness and death did for the disease in this country.

There is no telling what he is dying of, but at the age of 74, it seems a little premature death, especially with his having the best medical treatment in the world, all of his life.

I initially thought it was advance syphillis(sp), what with all of the goat humping he has likely been involved in. But, I guess AIDS/HIV is more likely.

If Arafat dies of old age we will have to endure protest and riot from the Arab world as they would like to bury him in Jeruselum. If on the other hand the Arab world finds out that he died of AIDS they will dump his body off at the nearest landfill.

True, at 76 and having done nothing but organizing the murder of Jews all his life might qualify for a few of allah's virgins in their Paradise, except they'd better be boys. The burning question is what happened to all his loot, supposedly stashed in Swiss bank accounts. Two to three billion dollars, which should have gone to the Palestinians, and might have made a huge difference for a lot of them? If it's found, they'll never see it, because Arafat's "heirs" will take it. Good Muslims.
