Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

We ran into Carl Cameron in the lobby of the Holiday Inn around the corner from Fox News a couple years ago. My husband told him how much we enjoy his work and he was very gracious.

lol- Napolitano, the meatball sub guy!

He has that weird hairline too. Now, I wrote that post on Nov 2004, and there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then. I have found myself disagreeing with him lately, but as lawyers go, he's still not bad.

And if I find any meatball sub joints run by someone who looks like Laurie Dhue, I'll alert you instantly!!

My favorite Shep moment was when they announced the eminent domain decision from SCOTUS, and he said, "Welcome to Havana."

Like Krauthammer. Love Brit Hume. Also, Michael Barone, Stuart Varney, and Gen. Paul Vallely.

But there are many, many FoxNews reporters and analysts that are conservative.

one lil fact is that Greta's husband was a high level advisor to the Kerry campaign, if that brings it back to politics and political leanings.

He is an ambulance-chasing trial lawyer who happens to be big into Scientology (so is Greta). Natural fit for the Dimwit Party.

I found replies tonight to this old thread too. Weird how old posts come back.

I noticed that, too. I came across this thread and started reading it. I thought it seemed familiar, then came across one of my posts and checked the date. I was amazed that it is still alive. Its a fun thread, though.

Shepard Smith set his image to me when he called a lady reporter a "bitch" during the Florida recount when she took "his" parking place when he left to eat.

Brit Hume is a prince. He first gained stature when BJ Clinton was prez when he asked Clinton a question embarassing to Clinton and Clinton responded by trying to embarass Brit about his marriage.

Brit's brain cells are all assembled in the proper order.

How can you leave out my favorite, John Gibson? There is no question about his leanings. He regularly rips liberals a new one and I love every minute of it.

I don't know about Greta. Her Heinousness Hillary was very rude to Greta yesterday at an interview in Houston.
Made me think that Greta donates to the Republican Party.

Shep is great, refreshing in a world of deadpan reporting. Wry and sarcastic comments often renew my faith that there must be others like me out there.

Count me in. I think the only people who don't like him are the ones who were content with Petah and Dan and their ilk.

Greta and hubby are definitely big-time Scientologists and Democrats. My guess is that Hillary was demonstrating her political tin ear once again...or calculating that leftists will take abuse and still vote for her over any GOP candidate.

I'd like Neal Cavuto on in the evening more than Greta, for sure.

I must issue a retraction of my claim that Julian Phillips said that Kiran Chetry was pro-choice. Upon further contact with him, he has strongly made the point that I misunderstood his comments about Chetry, as he says he does not know how Kiran feels about abortion. I think I interpreted his statements reasonably, but I guess that I took some rather unclear and murky sentences and pieced them all together when I should not have. Again, Julian does not know Kiran's views on abortion, and he says he is sorry if I was lead to believe otherwise.

I apologize for any problems or confusion caused by all of this. I need to be more careful about blurting things out, but I guess it's easy to do when you have a pre-conceived notion about a person. I always thought that Kiran was really liberal, and so that thought coupled with Julian's email convinced me outright that Kiran was one of the NARAL gals. I made a rush to judgement and it was wrong. I think that many of us thought of Julian as liberal, and he may be in many areas, but the fact that he is pro-life (and that is not in dispute) has made me see him in a different light. Again, my apologies.
