Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

I don't think that divorce means that one can't be conservative. I was simply pointing out that she is a Republican, and she is getting a divorce. You seemed to have information that lead you to believe that Juliet's marriage was fine, but she clearly admitted that it isn't. I don't have a problem with that, but it's just a fact.

I saw Juliet say this morning that she didn't drink, but it was a joke. Juliet has made MANY references to her love of alcohol, and she shows pictures of herself with a drink sometimes when she's out. I'm sure that there are many viewers of Fox & Friends that could vouch for what I'm saying here. I don't dislike Juliet, but she does like to party and drink. She's made no secret of it.

Bill O'Reilly - Populist, right leaning self promoter.

Brit Hume - conservative but fair, giving everyone a chance to talk andis seldom bossy or berating to a guest's point of view.

Fred Barnes - Conservative and sincely commentator, not a GOP cheerleader as he will point out when the GOP is wrong

Shep Smith - a quiet conservative, I suspect

Sean Hannity - very conservative commentator and advocate, harmed only by being a GOP cheerleader and prone to canned retorts

Morton Kondracke - fairly liberal but fair and calls thing as he sees them. He is not a 'brainded' lib and can be counted on for mature commentary.

Greta Van Susteren - fairly liberal, competent and gives benefit of doubt to dems but seldom GOP

Juan Williams - 'talking point' liberal, willing to contort himself in all sorts of painful ways to get to his positions. Low credibility

Alan Colmes - 'talking point' liberal, but not as willing to contort himself in painful ways to get to his positions. A sensible fellow.

Neil Cavuto - Conservative, pro business, good/clear thinker

John Gibson - Conservative leaning, unapologetic, but fair

Steve Doocy - Conservative leaning instincts, keeps it light

ED Hill - Democratic leaning instincts, but she is not a liberal. A 1950's democrat. Keeps it light.

Brian Kilmeade - Strongest morning conservative leaning instincts, prone to getting confrontational when a lib guest goes totally bonkers, but otherwise can be counted on for a snide and derisive remark when a dem really deserves it. Quickest wit on Fox News, I think.

Linda Vester - Thoughtful and light, makes it a point to question both sides with equal vigor, though in a decidedlty 'daytime' way: unfoncfrontational. She is fair and gives everyone their time to speak; ladylike and never derisive.

I love Brian Kilmeade, especially when he shows that he's not going to take any crap from the dems!

I wonder how he works with Kiran Chetry so early in the morning. They seem to get along pretty well, but she's got to be one of the most liberal people around. Everything I read about her says that she's a liberal Democrat, and I guess she and Brian just have to make nice for an hour or so in front of the cameras. Who knows, maybe he can convert her to our side!!

If that's the case, I can understand - I would cut Kieran a whole lot of slack, myself! She is my fave Foxbabe, though I have several Fox women that I like, Kieran has that little 'extra' that admittedly has me swooning!

In any case, Kilmeade is very funny and quick witted: I don;t think he gets enough credit for that. A few years back during the winter olympics, steve made mention of a an event whose name escaped me - "you know, when the men get down and go down the icehole fast?" Kilmeade responded with, "Homosexuality?"

And the cast and crew lost it. They were laughing very hard for several minutes, Steve and Ed left the set, the crew dimmd the lights, and staff came by to take away the set and roll up the carpet, etc. In other words, a 'showstopper.' Great, funny moment on F&F.

That's really funny, I'm sorry that I didn't see that episode! Brian is a true natural and I think pretty conservative. It's refreshing that he doesn't seem ashamed to come across that way.

Kiran, on the other hand, is another story altogether. She looked absolutely sad and depressed the morning after election day. She could see that Bush was going to win, and her disappointment was written all over her face. She must have felt pretty lonely there, because I think that most of the others on the program would have supported Bush.

that's really shocking ... maybe she rebelled and never went back? Maybe they got badly burned by the McCarthy connection? I read that her husband was active in the Kerry campaign, and both of them were active Gore supporters.

"she loves to party and drink." So did my wife when I met her :)

Lessee, that was 17 years ago.

I just like the way Kieran looks. :-)

I didn't see her post election day, but it's not surprising. Clearly about as Irish/Catholic as you can get, a lot of those folks (maybe the majority) are raised as terminally democrat. That's no excuse, really, but it's a reason, I suppose.

Still, she is my foxiext fox babe! :-)

Well, call me a liar if you wish. Tune into Fox & Friends Weekend on a regular basis, and you will hear this woman talk about drinking and partying, in the present tense. I am not making this up, and I have no reason to.

She's a Republican, I think conservative on some issues, and she likes to party. If she wants to party, that's her business, but I'm just telling you that it is a part of her life that she doesn't hide.

She has always admitted to being a dem from Dripping Springs, TX. She commented recently that Mr. Hill is non-political, but might vote this time ( said before the election, of course).

I think it was a remark by Cavuto after the bin Laden tape - something like OBL had a sKerry pin on his lapel. sKerry people wanted Fox people thrown off the plane.

Has anyone noticed how TALL many of the Fox guys are? Cal Thomas, Jim Pinkerton, Brian Wilson, Bill Sammons (Wa Times, but on Fox some) are all about 6'4". Maybe Jim Angle; Lauren Green is tall, too.

That's fine with me. I just know that there was someone on here who swore up and down that Juliet Huddy didn't drink and went to bed at 10pm every night. I was just trying to set the record straight that in fact, she does drink and party and makes no secret of it.

I guess I must have addressed the wrong person. Sorry.

You're right - most of them are fairly tall (Brit looks tall, too). I think Laurie and Paige are also tall.

I like Lauren. I think I heard she was Miss Minnesota in the Miss America Pagent several years ago.
