Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

The first time I thought we were on trouble on Election Day was when Brit Hume came on about 3:00 PM and sounded straight out depressed about the exit poll data. As his mood lifted thought the night (and next morning) so did my confidence. On the other hand Judy Woodruff was positively giddy in the afternoon and suicidal later.

I'll tell ya, the guy on FNC that makes my skin crawl is that Judge Napolitano they have on as needed. The guy looks like a werewolf at 10 til midnight.

I always think of Eddie Munster when I see the judge.

I believe Lauri Dhue is a conservative big time. She is a bit supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

The only one I that really "curls my ears" is a member of the Fox & Friends weekend team. Julian Something. Pompous ass.

Julian and Mike (the Cad) on Fox & Friends weekends are big libs and spent all morning making excuses for Kerry.

ED Hill - conservative Dem as already pointed out
Brit Hume - always been a noted conservative
O'Reilly - too populist as already noted. May have voted for Bush for security, but leans left if you ask me.
Greta - can't watch her. Waste of the 10pm time slot. Super lib.
Judge Napolitano - get rid of him. Typical write new law from the bench anti-conservative.
Shep - closet lib (but he's cute!)
Ducy and Kilmead - they're with us. Sometimes for the show they play devil's advocate, but Kilmead's go around with Garafalo should have shown everyone where he's at...
There is one chick (I think it's Molly Hennenberg) that reports a lot during the financial segments and she is such a lib I just want to $%*^& slap her. Fair and balanced goes right out the window when she's on...

I too, was surprised at Susan Estrich's behavior. As lefties go, I have found her to be tolerable. She's often funny and I'd never seen her rude or impolite. (Hubby and I have fun doing voice imitations of her when recovering from upper-respiratory infections.) After her little tirade with Brit, I looked at hubby and asked "What the heck was that all about?" Her face was all over FOX during the 2000/Gore fiasco, and I never saw anything like that.

Shep Smith - Puzzleing - Not really wild about the guy but just recently I feel he unvieled his true colors. As the President was coming to the podium to speak after the election Shep said "...and here is the President now. I can GUARANTEE you to make a speech he never thought he would be making!" Whoa, I thought...guarantee??? Me thinks you must have been under some kind of Democrat illusion. I suspect he is one of the token lefties hired to maintain the "fair and balanced" premise but just not shove it down our throats.

Kondrake is a dim but walked into the booth and pulled the lever for Bush.

Krauthammer - in the wheelchair - is Canadian - a democrat who is right.

Let's not forget Jim Pinkerton and Cal Thomas great reps.

Enjoyed reading all 294 comments.
SHEP: He lives in Chinatown and rides the subway to FOX; grew up in Memphis; worked for a SW Fl TV station somewhere between Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers area before FOX.
MAJOR GARRETT: Came to FOX from CNN; bet he loves his new journalistic freedom.
CARL CAMERON: Has been following Kerry last 15 or 16 months. Hope he enjoys his vacation. Bet he, as well as the Kerry Secret Service detail, are happy to return civility.

I knew he was military and I assumed he was conservative but you know what they say about assuming!

I've always loved those military types. I guess that's why the Lord gave me a husband in the Army!

I think I read it here that recently on Fox and Friends, ED Hill stated she was a moderate Democrat, but I didn't hear it with my own ears. Maybe someone reading this thread did?????

Hmmm. I think you might have Carl Cameron pegged incorrectly. He got in some kind of trouble for joking or saying something derogatory about Kerry while covering him.
