but it is more fun to watch than the comedy channel!
bumping for later read...
You ain't kiddin'. I've just been pumped by the decisivness of the election, but haven't gloated any, as most of us "winners" probably haven't (not 100%, ok).
But hearing Grisela and the other whining losers is so damn entertaining, I'm just lmao. I'm looking for more after I leave here.
These folks just can't stand the feelings of despair over being locked in the minority and unable to have things their own way.
Last (long) comment: If the Dems had had a viable candidate, like FDR or JFK or (ugh) Clinton, there's no question in my mind that Bush would have been beaten. Kerry was a terrible candidate, with zero appeal to both sides. His candidacy, alone, was a big plus for Bush.
And, still, there was only a 3% margin overall. National security and the war had to be more positive for Bush than Kerry's position was to the Dems. Still, the vote margin was only 3%.
I'm as happy as anyone that Bush won. But, I'm not getting cocky! Bush has a strong hold on Congress now, and he must make full use of it (Supreme Court, etc), because this country remains evenly divided. He does have a mandate. But the visions of each side are so well-defined as to make us nearly polarized.
Remember that this time, even with that pill Kerry, our side won by only 3%. Just a small swing, possible for any number of reasons, would allow that far-out left side to prevail. How horrible would that be?
Well, whatever, we can hack it. The losers, however, will continue to cry and whine 'till they win again. 8-)
