John Kerry's concession speech, by contrast, was graceful and dignified. And it struck a patriotic note that is all too rare in Democratic rhetoric. It was probably John Kerry's finest moment as a public figure

Now now Mona let's not get Mentally Irregular here

The guy is a lying traitor who caused the suffering death and humiliation of vast numbers of people and military personel and 20 years of screwing the military in the senate ain't changed by some meaningless speech

To add to the to-do list:

Go through the budget with a fine-tooth comb and CUT all unneccessary programs! Maybe each state's delegation can come up with one program to cut. Then perhaps we can pay for the new social security and medical insurance.

By the way, why is it assumed that insurance has to cover basic visits to the doctor? Does auto insurance pay for oil changes? Why not have insurance for catastrophic events, but pay for the little ones yourself, and thus have smaller premiums and less paperwork?

Kerry showed some grace; too bad so few of his most vocal followers can take that high road. Perhaps that tells us something about his leadership ability.
