The question is whether the error made it into the Ohio totals, or is simply a typo on the form.
Even if so, however, seems unlikely to change the result.
The report appears to have been automatically generated from the BOE database, and the spurious number is reflected in the grand totals.
Another strange thing about that precinct is that 87 write-ins are listed, which would be an inordinate percentage of the about 600 actual voters there.
Let's wait for the conspiracy theory freaks to start up ....
Why haven't you sent an e-mail to the secretary of state yet?
SSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! the good guys won!
That's just to make up for the 2000 that the Philly machines had on them to begin with............. It's a typo, I'll bet anything
Welcome to FR. Joined today, I see.
Aha, but I've lurked for donkey's ages and can Unnngh and Stune Beebers with the best of them.
Series!
Hey, maybe we should have a major investigative study on voter fraud throughout the nation. I heard of irregularities in Philadelphia and Chicago as well.
I take it that you went over votes out of Cleveland and that corrupt county in the same way you did Franklin?
BYE TROLL!!!
And I DO MEAN 'TROLL'.
A check of your previous posts show that you are... um... less than helpful around here.
An honest man has spoken! Hear, hear!!!
Well, he was right. We should investigate voter fraud through the whole country, especially urban areas where people complained of being disenfranchised.
Dang! I wasted my first post on a troll! I've always been too naif...
They have the precinct public count correct so it's a non-issue and will be corrected prior to the vote being certified.
They have typos like this from time to time and there are people who run analysis on the database numbers to verify that the total votes for all related candidates or issues do not exceed the total precinct count.
If you checked all the counties you'd find something similar to that that went in Kerry's favor as well. Most likely even larger typos would come out of Cuyahoga county.
