I don't think this is about casting stones, first or otherwise.

We're just picking them up and gently tossing them back to her.

Look, I would agree with you absolutely if she were in private life, or even if her husband was running for an office less important than that of the leader of the free world.

We have had a very narrow escape indeed. I was watching Kerry's speech in the dentist's office while my son was having his teeth cleaned, and the hygienist and I both looked at each other after she stumbled in and Kerry left her down below the stage and both said simultaneously, "Is she DRUNK?" It was that obvious.

I think a large part of the irritation we all feel is that the fact that she is obviously, publicly, pathetically drunk or drugged and out of control was never even questioned or touched upon by the news media. Contrast that to the microscopic exam that Bush and his wife and (especially) his daughters got from the news media.

I think in Mrs. Ford's day the press was marginally more restrained in dealing with family members (although Lord knows they were pretty hard on Pres. Ford re his supposed clumsiness, etc.) Moreover, IIRC Mrs. Ford was NOT a loud and publicly intoxicated person, she belonged to the generation that assiduously concealed its drinking. I don't recall her ever making a scene in public (although it just may be that I didn't talk to the right people.)

Anyhow, I don't think too many on here are gloating, just contemplating the narrow escape that we had -- no thanks to a news media that was in the tank for Kerry and refused to investigate any of the MANY problems with his public and personal life.

What struck me most was the fact that she looked like she didn't care and would rather be somewhere else.

"The woman is a wreck, spiritually, intellectually, morally, personally and socially. There's nothing funny about that; it's sad and pathetic."
How do you know any of this? She may be a simple case of a senior citizen displaying some of the effects of advancing years.
You are judging her and those who post on FR. Just take care of yourself.

Are YOU drunk while you type?

Your comment about intoxication, combined with your screen name, made me think of Mark Tuinei, the Dallas football player who ODed on Heroin.

Many say it's meds not liquor.

I would agree that their is meds in the picture, but probably booze too.

Just in my personal experiences I've noticed that women seem to go for the pills and men seem to go for the booze primarily with a little mixing it up here and there.

Xanax and booze would definitely seem to be the case with her, especially when she made the 'un-American' comment and then denied it five minutes later. Xanax causes some serious memory loss from what I've seen.

Well, if you were married to John Kerry, you'd probably drink a lot, too.

No, I'm not drunk. Still on first cup of coffee, though. :0

Talk about her ideas and despicable word/compurture, talk about her public behavior, and especially talk about the media's whoredoms, and I'm basically with you. Maybe you just didn't see what I saw yesterday, but I saw hateful gloating at her personal ruin.

Let the Donks hate people; let's stick with ideas, and let's love people.

Below is a little song for the sedated Teresa.

Mother's Little Helper (Jagger/Richards)

What a drag it is getting old "Kids are different today," I hear ev'ry mother say Mother needs something today to calm her down

And though she's not really ill There's a little yellow pill She goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day

"Things are different today," I hear ev'ry mother say Cooking fresh food for a husband's just a drag So she buys an instant cake and she burns her frozen steak

And goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper And two help her on her way, get her through her busy day

Doctor please, some more of these Outside the door, she took four more What a drag it is getting old

"Men just aren't the same today" I hear ev'ry mother say They just don't appreciate that you get tired They're so hard to satisfy, You can tranquilize your mind

So go running for the shelter of a mother's little helper And four help you through the night, help to minimize your plight

Doctor please, some more of these Outside the door, she took four more What a drag it is getting old

"Life's just much too hard today," I hear ev'ry mother say The pusuit of happiness just seems a bore And if you take more of those, you will get an overdose

No more running for the shelter of a mother's little helper They just helped you on your way, through your busy dying day

I do take care of myself, thanks. Ms. Hyphen-hyphen calls her miscarried children "little piggies," rationalizes abortion, puts gay rights as her first WH agenda iten, and disgraces herself every time she opens her mouth. She is married to a man who can't say anything good about her, but has to change the subject to his dead mother in a debate. I could go on; if you've been following the news, you won't need me to.

I am not only free, but am required, to judge what I see, whether her behavior and speech or FReepers' postings. I did. Disagree? Cite some facts, strech some logic-muscles, spare me the bluster.

Dan

No, I feel sorry for her personally. I really do. I have seen drunkenness and drug addiction up close and personal, and it is a trail of ruined lives.

But just as I would feel happy and relieved that someone had stopped a drunk from getting behind the wheel of a tractor trailer just in time, I am glad that she and her enabling husband were stopped from taking the controls of this great nation just in time.

If it elicits any response from us at all, it should be to provoke Christian posters to pray for her.

Well said, Dan. I was tempted to post something, but you've given me a spiritual slap upside the head.

With that, I totally agree. That they even got close is scary.

I don't know if Ms Kerry was drunk or sedated, but I do know she wore the very same green outfit she wore the day before. And it looked like she had slept in it.
