It looks like the President and Kerry are about 11,000 votes apart, 1,477,122 (49.4%) to 1,488,935 (49.8%), with 100% reporting. That's 11,000 out of nearly 3 million. Why is this state given to Kerry?
Consolation Prize?
They have to give it to him to maintain a fair and balanced election result :)
ding ding ding!
They gave him Pennsylvania and New Hampshire with similar numbers too. They were SO eager to assign Kerry's states, waited forever (all the way to 100%) for many of Pres. Bush's.
Because the election is over and it doesn't matter?
It has to be around 130,000-140,000 - only then it's too close to call :)
so Russell Feingold has no room to breathe.
Yet, Iowa is 13250 with Bush leading and it hasn't been called.
I don't think they have given it to Kerry yet. I've seen the map and it's not shaded dark blue yet.
We don't need no stinkin MSM
Did you notice what a "portent of trouble" it was that the Carolinas and Virginia were "too close to call" until about 1/2 of their votes had been counted? Well, VA went 55-45 for Bush, SC was 58-41 and NC was 56-33. Its the same stunt they pulled in 2000; call states for the Demos when they're 1 point ahead, hold as "too close to call" when the Rep state is 16 points up.
I was just questioning that as well. That margin of error in Wisconsin is actually much slimmer than Iowa or New Mexico. They call for Kerry but not the states for Bush. I believe the MSM motivation is obvious...
HAHAHAHAHA
But it does matter. The bigger Bush wins, the harder it is for the media to start saying that has still lacks a real mandate. Believe me, they will be saying that in about a week.
Uh...because Kerry got more votes?
It is still posible for Bush to take PA and WI once EVERY VOTE IS COUNTED AND EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
Because 49.8 is higher than 49.4.
But, what the heck OUR GUY WON!
FOUR MORE YEARS, FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
