It is with profound relief and gratitude to all the volunteers, voters, the Swift Vets for Truth, campaign staff, etc., that I type up today's edition of A Day in the Life of the Re-elected President Bush.
As we now know, Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate? YES!
Stocks surged Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials posting a triple-digit gain moments after the opening bell, as investors expressed relief following the election and victory for President Bush.
Some international reaction: Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said an election victory by President Bush would strengthen the United States and benefit their countries.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island!!!!! We have successfully defended our beaches and borders, and our Coast Guard is commissioned to maintain its patrols for Four More Years!
I heard Dom G mention they aren't giving up the fight about the prison vote fraud
May there be peace on earth and good will among GOOD MEN. :)
"Shirley Westerfield, center, Debbie McCoy, right, and Mike Fulbright, left, with his daughter Olivia Fulbright, 3, watch television at the Coffee Station in Crawford, Texas, as President Bush delivers his victory speech, Wednesday." (That's what I was doing, too!)
What a Great Day!!!
And A GREAT Dose!
Now if only they would call my pesky home of IA! Bush Took it back, I have very little doubt, essentially all absentee/provisional ballots that are out would have to go to "you know who" in order for bush not to get it. Grrrr. Hurry up and count people! /rant
Have you noticed Laura's right pinky is never straight in these photos? Wonder what gives.
Victory Bump!
He looked so proud. I love this guy!
That is just how she waves. When she waves with her right hand, her thumb sticks out past the rest of her hand and her right pinky is bent. It's just one of those quirks that makes her special. On another thread we were noticing how Jeanna claps differently than most. Her left palm is pointing up and her right hand claps down on the left hand. Just endearing qualities I think.
The quote is really:
"Peace on Earth towards men of good will."
Christmas came a little early this year!
Ohio ROCKS!!!
"US citizens living in Costa Rica wait for the victory speech by President Bush in Mac's American Bar in San Jose, Costa Rica, Wednesday."
Jenna and Barbara are visions of beauty and style. What a wonderful family we have in the White House for FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
To all who have worked so diligently to post The Dose: Thank You All, from the bottom of my heart. This truly has been Sanity Island on many dark days. But the sun shines brightly today!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Gretchen just posted a few more photos with her not waving and the pinky is straight. Yeah, you point out her thumb...in the pic I checked when I read this, it looks like it's half gone!
Iowas finally 100% in, Bush wins with 13,000-vote margin. New Mexico still not fully counted
Congratulations Iowa!
Thank you for the great pics, even thru tears of joy they look wonderful. :)
This is a beautiful and hopeful day.
