It is with profound relief and gratitude to all the volunteers, voters, the Swift Vets for Truth, campaign staff, etc., that I type up today's edition of A Day in the Life of the Re-elected President Bush.
As we now know, Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate? YES!
Stocks surged Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials posting a triple-digit gain moments after the opening bell, as investors expressed relief following the election and victory for President Bush.
Some international reaction: Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said an election victory by President Bush would strengthen the United States and benefit their countries.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island!!!!! We have successfully defended our beaches and borders, and our Coast Guard is commissioned to maintain its patrols for Four More Years!
I thought even they were disgusting.
There's a lot of emotion in these pictures!
God bless President Bush and his family and his supporters throughout the nation!

When Laura waves with her left hand, the pinky is pretty straight, so I guess it's just the right. And, IMHO, it is a gift to be able to pick up on those things, not a curse, Thank you for helping.
THIS is a Dubya W:
WE DID IT -- WE DRUG OHIO KICKING AND SCREAMING INTO THE PRESIDENT'S WIN COLUMN!
All of the phone calls, the precinct walking, the PDA inputting, the literature/signage drops, and so on and on and on, were worth it: Our beloved president is back in office for FOUR MORE YEARS!!!!
[And, yes, it was Hamilton and Clermont counties (my counties) that tallied last and put our Dubya unquestionably over the top!!]
JUST HOW BIG WAS THE PRESIDENT'S VICTORY?!:
President Bush's Historic Victory
Chief Strategist Matthew Dowd outlines President Bush's historic victory in his final strategy memo of the 2004 election. Yesterday, in a record turnout, you helped President Bush make history: the first presidential candidate since 1988 to win over 50% of popular vote, the most popular votes of any presidential candidate in history, the first time ever an equal number of Republicans and Democrats voted, the first time since 1936 that a President has been re-elected with gains for his party in the House and the Senate.
From Hawaii to Massachusetts, from New Mexico to New Jersey, President Bush won new supporters all across America. Dowd tells us who some of them are:
Increased his percent of the vote from 2000 in 45 out of 50 states, including a 4 percent increase in John Kerrys home state of Massachusetts. President Bush ran just as strongly in the key battleground states as he did nationally. In the 14 most competitive states (AR, CO, FL, IA, MI, MN, MO, NH, NM, NV, OH, PA, WI, and WV), President Bush won 51% of the vote to John Kerrys 49% -- an improvement of 2 points from his 2000 performance in those states. Yesterday also revealed that the Republican Party has made historic gains with minority voters and women. Exit polling revealed that President Bush won 42% of Hispanics (up from 35% in 2000), 11% of African-Americans (up from 9% in 2000), 24% of Jewish voters (up from 19% in 2000), and 47% of women (up from 43% in 2000).

I've been doing my happy dance all day long!
Happy, happy, joy, joy.....!!!!!!!
They were. Personally, I don't think Fox is all that great, only better by comparison to MSNBC and CNN.
When that batch of bogus exit polls hit FR yesterday, I got permission to leave work early. I then went down to my local GOP HQ and helped get out the vote, then stayed there with friends until the wee hours. We were thrilled when they called Florida, but it became obvious after awhile that the media was going to refuse to call any more states no matter what.
I'll join you in that effort. Hopefully, there will be enough momentum to keep them moving forward. Biggest scam in history....
BTW, I saw an interesting tidbit on Brit's show that indicated the SwiftBoat Vets ads were the MOST effective of the 527's. Way more % of people had heard of the SwiftVets than of Moveon.org.
So...just imagine what would have happended if the traitorous lamestream media had given the Swifties the coverage they deserved. Most of the alphabet networks refused to interview them or even cover their story. So a HUGE accomplishment on the part of the Swifties it seems.

No, that's a Barney W [chuckle...]
I worked for 13 hours yesterday, and the PDA input, phone and door to door sheets generated from it and legwork in getting the job done just plain amazed me!
I just kept thinking....I am SO honored to be a part of this!! SO HONORED!!
Ohio, I saw on another thread you posted to that Eric is now a SARGEANT !!! Please give him our heartiest congratulations, from a proud cyber-Aunt. :-)
You know OhioW, after all of the horrendous villification the President has withstood, this fact, this distinction must be extremely meaningful to him. Overwhelming even, maybe a little bit.
CERTAINLY most deserved! Congrats and my personal thanks again, to all the Ohio effort.

God bless you both for all your hard work and dedication. Just goes to show that, working together across the country, we can make a difference. Now we here in California need to figure out a way to either split the state into two states or get it to move more to the Right.
What kind of idiots were running that show anyway?
IMO, Fox disgraced itself last night. It's still far better than the rest, but they were more interested in ratings than in truth last night, and that makes me sick.

He is only 20, and is the youngest possible age to reach this rank.
He continues to make us PROUD!
I was and remain quite disgusted with Fox about last night.
Please give Eric my congratulations. Woohoo!

Thanks. Let's give the investigations awhile to unfold. The holidays are coming up, so I'm willing to give them until after the State of the Union in January. The new Congress will be sworn in a week or two before then. Let's see if it looks like progress is being made, or if it's being swept under the rug. Then we can decided what to do. But I'm not taking my eye of that particualr ball.
As for the 527's, ain't the new campaign finance reforms just ducky. Sheesh!
