My hands are clean. I voted for the Prez. I watched his acceptance speech and noted the calm dignity and purposeful resolve with which faced the difficulties that confront us. I'm simply saying that we have enough on our plates without this distraction of trying to bring kerry to justice. It isn't going to happen.
Agree. A coworker of mine, a South Vietnamese boat person refugee, loosed his opinion of Kerry to me today. He is grateful that the United States harbored him in his exile, but reviled that we could even be considering Kerry as a presidential candidate. He lost lots of friends and family in their exodus, and does not feel that he can return to visit surviving relatives in Vietnam to this day.
The Communist North honors John Kerry as a significant hero in their victory and oppression of South Vietnam.
Did Kerry take this action out of principled concern about the immorality of the US actions in S. Vietnam?
No! In Vietnam, he was an unleashed Rambo (at least against the unarmed citizens) in his activities in S. Vietnam - he shot them up as fast as he could - in a calculated effort to generate "action" for his posturing hero scenes.
Kerry's direct efforts alienated the South Vietnamese during his tour, and then betrayed them in his lying testimony afterwords. He is a clear and obvious self-serving scumbag - and merits the most severe punishment a just community can dish out.
