Hey, I'm in Canada, perhaps I can arrange to just swap places with some American liberal!

Unless you're a deserter or draft dodger.

"You just can't come into Canada and say 'I'm going to stay here'.Our fleeing, gutless, liberals will gladly let any and all of the world flood the US until we crash and burn. Why can't you take our tired, our beaten, our liberals?...

Why can't they just sneak across the border like the Mexicans sneak across into this country?

You just can't come into Canada and say 'I'm going to stay here'. In other words, there has to be an application. There has to be a reason why the person is coming to Canada," said immigration ministry spokeswoman Maria Iadinardi.Wow, with an attitude like that maybe Ms. Iadinardi would like Asa Hutchinson's job over at INS.
Imagine that...You just can't come into a country and say "I'm going to stay here"

Let the exodus begin! Careful, don't send to many our way or we will have to open our borders and send more Jennings and John Roberts your way!
BTW - congrats on a great night.

look at Canada trying to pretend its a real country and all. GO USA!
To: knak
Or, you can just hop the border, and tie up Canadian Immigration in their wacko liberal courts for a few decades until there's another Democrat elected.

There's always Mexico. Border crossings can be a two-way street, you know.

Wish we could get the folks from Mexico to do the same - wait in line, that is.

"You just can't come into Canada and say 'I'm going to stay here'. In other words, there has to be an application. There has to be a reason why the person is coming to Canada," One time my wife and I were visiting friends in Canada. The customs official was incredulous. "What on earth are you going to do in Alberta for NINE DAYS???" Like the subject had never come up before. "I don't know. You got any suggestions?"
