Britain's Scotsman reports that Hillary Clinton today was named favorite to win the next U.S. presidential vote in 2008 after George Bush won re-election to the White House.
The wife of former President Bill Clinton was installed at 5-to-1 odds by the betting agency Ladbrokes and 6-to-1 by William Hill to take over from Bush after his second term.
Bush was Ladbrokes' favorite for the whole of the election campaign. It's estimated that some 8 million pounds was spent wagering the U.S. election.
Ladbrokes has Hillary Clinton at 5-1 followed by former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani at 7-1 and Kerry running mate John Edwards at 8-1.
so its never the wife's fault, is that it? Donna Hanover didn't sound like a very supportive wife to me, they didn't get along, eventually they led separate lives, and divorced.
Jeb or maybe that good lookin Hispanic Bush. Can you imagine the screams from the left?
Condi. Shes both. Perfect.
Third race at Santa Anita?
I never watch Shephard Smith. For some reason he gets on my nerves!
Someone should file the markets reaction to President Bush's re-election where it can be brought out the next time the dems start on the economy.
Simply, He is an Ole Miss Grad.
The fact that Hillary would even be considered means that they still do not get it. She is a cruel socialist and people would be on to her even more so than sKerry. Mort Kondracke said she could pull of being religious - BS!b
